This is an amazing Seat Cushion! I've had it for about 5 years, and only then did I realize that it wasn't as comfortable as when I first had it! So I bought another one! Pros: - Very comfortable - Lasts a very long time! - Support is really nice - Doesn't make my rear hot Cons: - Have to wait 24 hours before you can first use it - It was a little too wide for my chair (I just rammed it in and sat on it, so it's working fine) But double check it will fit your chair - It starts out a little firm but you just have to kinda use it a little bit before it softens up

Don’t be alarmed by the cushion’s original stiffness. Once you sit on the cushion for a few moments, the heat-sensitive beads absorb the warmth of your backside, softening the cushion. From there, the cushion is both supportive and comfortable.

Hmmm . . . It's been 3 days since this arrived, so I'm not sure if I'm just being impatient or if this is as good as it gets, but as of right now, it's just okay. It's nowhere near the 3.5" thickness that's advertised. It's closer to maybe just a little over 2" and it's pretty firm. Is firm better than soft? Not sure, but I'm comparing it to another coccyx cushion that my sister has that's a softer memory foam and to me, hers is much more comfortable. (hers is no longer available for purchase or I would have just bought the same one) Pros : - this one is wider than my sisters which, combined with the non slip dots on the bottom side, keep it in place better even on larger seats. - the larger size also means that there's a larger target to hit when you're not able to easily "aim" yourself to sit on it just right. On seats without arms to help ease me down slowly, the larger size gives much more room for error. - love the carry handle (I took it on an airplane and that made traveling with it easy) - the cover unzips for washability if needed - no logo or markings on it. I'm pretty picky about aesthetics and hate goofy logos, so this makes me happy Cons : - it's really firm. Maybe that's good for some, and maybe it'll soften up over time, but it's a bit hard for my liking - the seat cover is an open weave mesh which is nice for breathability, but if you're wearing shorts or a shorter skirt, the mesh fabric is a little rough and not the most comfortable on bare skin I bought this to help with a temporary issue pre and post op, so for my short term needs this'll suffice nicely. If my intentions were to use this everyday, I would need to look for something else that's more comfortable.

I have been enduring bursitis in my left side, lower back pain, and sciatica on my left side. Therapy helped some but not all. In December I purchased one of these seat cushions. I put it on the kitchen chair, a hard wood chair, where I sit a good part of the day. Now the end of February I feel so much better. I can walk further without my bursitis causing hip pain and my lower back is not in pain. I still need to strengthen my hip muscles which I will do. The seat cushion has helped #o much. I never write reviews, however I feel the need to because of the relief this gave me. To be completely transparent, this was the only product like this that I have tried. However, it deserves a good review regardless. I am a home health nurse and sit in my car a lot in between patients. I have been dealing with a severe sciatica/ back pain flare up and could barely sit in my car without severe pain. I bought this cushion in hopes that I would be more comfortable while sitting in the car. While I still have pain initially when changing positions, this cushion has made all the difference in my comfort. I bought another one three days later to sit on inside my house so I didn’t have to bring it back and forth. So far the quality has been good and it fits well in my SUV. Thankful for the relief I get when sitting on it. I recommend!

I got it to replace the pillow I was sitting on as my back would hurt and my butt got numb, but now I dont have this issue and I've fallen asleep on it a few times. It takes some time to get used to as its stiff when you forst sit on it and then it slowly forms to your bottom. Its pretty good quality and its wide enough for me to sit on. If you like to be pantless I recommend putting a cover or a blanket on it as the fabric makes makes on anywhere exposed. Also there is a slight vaccume sealed smell so just leave it out to expand like the instructions say and the smell goes away pretty quickly.
