Our old door stop hole had stripped out and it kept falling off so I got rid of it and went the hinge mount door stop. Problem was, now there was an unsightly hole in it's place. Bought a 4 pack of these covers and stuck one over top of it. Looks great and a lot easier than trying to patch and paint it with wood filler. Very difficult to remove the adhesive backing stickers. Wish they could improve on that. Otherwise, installation is quick and easy as expected. I was a bit nervous to order these after some of the reviews. However, I am more than happy with them. They did not come broken or chipped and seem very sturdy. They arrive in a plastic mailer so maybe that's why some people said theirs were chipped. Next the reviews about the adhesive stips. I found that removing the plastic strip to over the sticky tape wasn't that hard. I did realize pretty quickly that if you make a small crease with your thumb nail on the corner of the strip the top plastic removal was easy. Wall mounting was very easy, but make sure before you put the disc on the wall that is where you want it, these stick very well. I did paint some that were in visible places, like my entryway, with no issues. Overall great product would buy again if needed. ... show more
