As a Dermatologist Caring for Heavier Patients, I Highly Recommend this Cushion for doctors, nurses & patients! 5 month update: The cushion is still great!! It hasn’t squished one bit despite daily sitting on it for hours. Still very comfortable to sit for longer hours on office chair. Highly recommend it! Original review at time of purchase: ****************** This is a perfect seat cushion for office chairs. It is big enough to take the whole space on my chair (see image). It doesn’t feel like I’m going to fall off the sides or I’ve to move the cushion constantly. I’m 5’9 inches, 150lbs and it feels great to sit on the extra thick 6 inch comfortable cushion. The shape is also very unique and for some reason works 10x better to rest my lower back. I work a lot on the computer and am prone to lower back and hip pain due to favoring my dominant side. This cushion immediately helps alleviate the pain and also helps improve my posture and not favor my dominant side!! I had one previously from another brand and it was so much smaller and flatter…Barely any support on lower back with struggles to move it constantly and did not offer much help with such ergonomic injury related pain!! Great durable product that I have been using for the last several weeks and it has retained the comfort level from when I first received it!! This is a great buy and definitely worth the money!!!

If you have tailbone pain this is the pillow for you! None of the other $20 U shaped pillows work! I’m 240lbs and my tailbone hurts like heck. This thing is tall enough so your tailbone doesn’t touch a chair at all. Even stacking 2 of the $20 ones doesn’t match this. The U is extra wide too, much wider than the $20 ones. Worth the $50.

This is the best of its category by far. Good for a larger person like me because it’s wider and thicker than other products. Very comfortable and good quality. The wider gap helps to relieve the pressure on the tailbone better than other products. Supports the glutes and hamstrings rather than the tail bone area. I’ve purchased other products with similar features, but this one covers it all. I threw out or donated the previous products I purchased. I currently use this with my Xchair and in my LayZBoy recliner.

I'm glad that I bought this, as sitting long hours driving a school bus has made my lower left thigh area right around my butt hurt sometimes. The only relief I have is to stop the pressure. My old seat cushion did it for awhile, but I guess that it wasn't thick enough, as I started getting that pain again. This cushion has given me comfort from that painful feeling, and as long as I position it correctly, I'm great. That's the thing though: I couldn't get comfortable using this as designrd because the hole (cutout) is just too big. I finally figured out that the best way that it works for me is to reverse the direction and put the "hole" area in front (with the wedge facing backwards). That way, I am able to push the "legs" of the cushion inward a little bit to the area that needs pressure relief and drive for hours without that same pain coming on. If they could design it a little more circular, with more thigh relief in mind and less about the butt area, it would be perfect for me. That being said, I hope that the wedge area holds up because there is less cushion there in the way that I'm using it. For me, they could have designed that part just as thick as the rest of the cushion. It's good so far though. I'm using it backwards and using pressure to keep it all in place for maximum comfort, but it works.

I’m so happy I found this pillow. And literally relieved! Have a serious pressure sore at my sacrum after five days in the hospital. While it’s being treated I need to avoid sitting or lying on it for it to better heal and because it’s painful. After several days I started looking for a pillow with the appropriate cut out at the back. I was drawn to this one because of the wide opening at the back. Obviously it remains to be seen how long it will last (hopefully I won’t need to use it for an extended time!). But right now it’s been great, couldn’t be happier. The first time I used it was the first time in a long time I was able to SLEEP a whole night. The opening is just right to surround the wound without touching any part of it. A total relief. I’ll update on its durability after a bit more time. Right now I highly recommend it!

Says it’s good for higher weights but it’s not. I’ve had it 5 months and my tailbone is now touching the chair, even in my recliner with extra plush. Have to throw out another one that promised it could hold the weight. I’m 6’5” and 270. There’s no way this will support higher weights. Might be great for smaller people.
