These should come with a warning! I am gliding about my office with so much ease that I am now a menace. I am flying all over the room and crashing into things (and coworkers) because I don't have a license for this thing! I love how smooth it glides and I no longer have to have a cage match with my office chair to get it to roll a certain direction to shift my feet on my footstool. The sound of me rolling is a quiet warning to my coworkers that a tornado is about to hurl across the room. The wheels themselves are silent, so the last thing they hear is my chair legs switching directions before I reach my destination. I end my timely journey by using my shoes to slow me down. Unless I crash into the empty desk next to my work bestie. The squealing of my shoes may be the last thing they hear before I come barreling over to them. These wheels glide so smooth that I will never stop rolling absolutely everywhere. Much to the dismay of the other two people in my department. I have been told that I am the comic relief in the office, and these wheels just elevate my game. 12/10 would recommend!

I got these for a chair that is partly on hardwood floor and partly on an oval jute throw rug. I'm 6' tall and 215 lbs. The rollers roll smoothly and easily over the floor. If one is going to make the transition from floor to rug I have to get out of the chair because with my body weight it just won't roll up onto the rug. Once out of the chair however I can roll it wherever I want. I can however scoot back from the desk with one or two wheels on the rug and there are no issues. It just seems to be when making the transition but that's of no issue. The rubber on the wheels is soft but durable and doesn't leave marks on the floor. They spin freely and roll easily. They are also much quieter than the ones that came with the chair. They were easy to install. I just flipped the chair over, pulled out the old casters and pushed these in. I don't know why chairs don't just come with these, they're a far better design. They are a perfect fit as an OEM replacement.

We tried our first set a year ago, ordered a few more sets last fall and just ordered 10 more sets. They are reasonably priced, install easily, hold up well and roll smoothly on carpet or hard floors. Highly recommend!

I bought these for use with our office chairs (link here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CCVG4RWD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I was tired of the wheels getting caught on a small rug we have underneath our shared computer desk and thought it would solve my problems. It did not, but it does feel luxurious. The wheels are too small to go over the edge of a low-pile rug (i.e., non-flat rug, greater than no-pile, ~0.5-1cm bump) easily, but it is an improvement over the original casters. I sit relatively properly in my office chair (feet on floor, back against the back of the chair), and otherwise works really great for me aside from the rug issue. I like how it glides like butter on the linoleum floors and really quiet! We have not had issues that other people have had with difficulty turning or changing direction in the chairs, so I am assuming that is a flooring or chair design issue, and nothing to do with the wheels since the pivoting is lightning fast. I am ~170lbs (+10lbs with a cat) so I am also not putting a huge amount of downward pressure on it either. That said, if your floors are slightly slanted like mine are, you will have a tendency to drift in that direction. For myself with both feet on the floor, this is not a problem at all. For my partner (~135lbs), who likes to sit cross-legged or curled up, this results in him drifting and sliding around by accident. We originally bought 2 sets and only set up 1 to try it, but since I am the only one who likes it, we'll be returning our spare. Definitely give it a try before committing.

OMG best thing I could have gotten, I wanted to get my chair a little higher and less stuck and these wheels are what I’ve been looking for. Ridiculously easy to put on and I couldn’t be happier. So quiet and easy to roll around (I’m on tile) but not so much that it’s moving all the time.
