Comfortable, soft cover but no carry handle

I'd actually give this 4.8 stars if I could - - - the only reason for a teeny deduction is that it doesn't have a carry handle. It doesn't specifically list in the description that it has a handle, but when I asked about a handle in the "looking for specific info" on Amazon, the reply was that it does. I know that's a minor thing, but a carry handle is hugely handy especially since I travel frequently and carry it with me on flights. It may be sneaky of me, but if I carry a cushion separately, the gate agent doesn't count that as a carry on item. Since this one doesn't have a handle, I happened to have a lightweight nylon bag that this cushion fit snug and perfectly in. It fit so snugly that it was more like a cover than a bag, I couldn't fit anything else in the bag, but you couldn't tell that it was a cushion. On a recent flight, I had my usual purse and roll-a-board suitcase but I also carried the cushion in this nylon bag. The boarding agent stopped me b/c I had 3 carry on items. I managed to stuff it into my suitcase so that allowed me to take it on board that time, but in the past when I had the same suitcase, purse and carried the other cushion out in the open, I was never stopped or asked to pack it away. It arrives vacuum packed and comes out of the package looking nothing like a cushion at all. It comes out of the package sorta folded in half like a clamshell, so I opened it then lay it on the counter. Not even 10 minutes later and it puffed up to full volume. I previously had a cushion with a mesh fabric cover and that was scratchy and not comfortable at all when I was wearing shorts and there was direct skin contact, so the softness of this cover is very much appreciated. Overall I'm very happy because after all, the comfort is what's most important but it would be such a little thing for the manufacturer to just add on a carry handle and that would make this perfect!

This works for me
This is good cushion for the price. I like the contours and hole location. It makes it easier to sit thru a day of work. I went with this for it was in my price range. It works for me.

The perfect seat

This cushion relieves back pain and is soft yet firm at the same time. So comfortable, I don't know how I went without it so long. Everyone should purchase one of these.

I have a deteriorating hip condition so lately sitting has become very painful and I needed relief. After a 12 hour day of work at my desk, I can say this really did significantly help with my hip/back pain. However, my legs did go a little numb from the circulation being cut off, which is why 4 stars instead of 5. I'm about 135lbs, mid-thirties, with good blood circulation but a few times during the day I had to adjust or wiggle my legs because the pad only goes about midway down the thigh and cuts off blood circulation. I love the hole in the middle, that's nice for letting loose a few farts now and then too lol Unfortunately I only got to test it while sitting on it, because the moment I got up from my desk my cats were practically fighting over it. Can confidently say it is car approved for comfort.

Good value for the money, but a bit narrow. - edit, it didn't last long.

A huge upgrade in comfort, but be warned: this cushion is THICK when you first sit down. The initial height is the main problem. Even with my office chair lowered all the way, I could not comfortably fit my legs under my desk at first. It takes about 5-10 minutes of sitting for my weight and body heat to compact the memory foam enough to clear the desk. If you are a lighter individual, I genuinely don't know if you'll get enough compression to fit comfortably, which is a potential design flaw. It takes some time for it to return to that thickness, so short trips away from my desk, or a few minutes of standing don't present the same issue. I do wish the cushion was wider. For reference, I believe I have an average-sized male frame, and the cushion just barely fits under me from side-to-side. I suspect this cushion would be too narrow for anyone with a wider frame. Overall, this is excellent for the price, for me, once it compresses, but the height and width might make it a poor fit for some users. ** update ** 5/12-2026 This eventually went flat on me. About a 2 months ago, I started to notice that this was going really, really flat after about 20-30 minutes. Basically, after about 30 minutes, it wasn't even there anymore. To be fair, I'm pretty heavy, but I still expected this to last longer than 7 months.

This is not a bad cushion. I've read the bad reviews of squished cushions & mine started the same way. It comes folded in half and vacuum sealed so it's going to take some time to fix that. DO NOT force it back to shape or it'll likely rip, especially if it's cold. I let it warm up a little bit, then applied very GENTLE pressure on the sides to help flatten it. As well as gently pushing from the middle hole, outward. Just gently pushing it into shape, then it filled out the rest of the way on its own. You can see how mine started & what it looks like now. And it took less than a day to look perfect. I think it's a great cushion for the price, is very comfortable to sit on and retains its shape. I have a bad back with fibromyalgia and this really helps. There was a strong odor when I opened it but that went away in minutes, thankfully. I'm 5'4" 170lbs and I fit on this cushion with room on either side to spare. And it'll lift you a couple inches higher in whatever seat you put it on. I'm happy with it and would definitely recommend it.
