Feels comfortable enough for the price point. You can get something much more comfortable for at least another $200-400 MORE than this chair, but this chair is plenty comfortable for me, personally. I'm replacing my $300+ Serta computer chair because the pleather on it is pealing off and I'm tired of cleaning up after it. (The chair did last me 10yrs though). This new chair is made of a pleather material that I'm hoping won't peel... EVER. The assembly was pretty basic and easy. Put a few bolts here and there, and use the T-wrench to tighten them. The wrench handle has sharp edges though, so it hurts to use once you get the bolts tight. The only complaint I have is that one of the bolts that holds the arm rests on was acting like it was stripped. After a few minutes of confusion and frustration, I figured out that somehow, the manufacturer put the wrong sized threaded hole on the chair. This turned up my frustration, because I didn't want to deal with a return of this chair, or having to contact a company who may or may not respond. I found a hex bolt a size or two larger that actually gripped the threads within the hole, and used my Dremel tool to cut a slit on the top of it. I then used a flat head screwdriver to screw the bolt in. It works, but it might slowly pop out over time. I'm also not happy that this had to be done in the first place. Besides the bolt, the chair seems nice. I'm giving it 3 stars overall due to the bolt issue [edit: see update below; now rating at 2 stars]. 3 stars for ease of assembly, since I had to pull out my Dremel to fashion a new bolt. And 3 stars for comfort and sturdiness. I don't know how long the bolt will stay tight (it's long, so it wants to unscrew). Comfort is nice, but as explained earlier, you can pay way more for more comfort. I'm happy to pay $100 for this level of comfort though. Update: bought this chair ebd of August 2022, and updating my review mid-January 2023. I've only put light use on this chair, and now it seems that the piston has blown, or at least, doesn't hold compression. I adjust the chair to my desired height, and it will stay, but once I sit down in it again, the chair will slam itself down as far as it can go (which is scary until you start to expect it every time you go to sit down). The piston has a black grease ring around the neck, so it's definitely leaking. I should note that I'm within the weight limits of this chair, and I am not slamming my body down in it when I go to sit down. This isn't an issue of me abusing the chair's piston or anything. I'm going to try to replace the piston, but at this point, I wouldn't recommend this chair anymore unless you're willing to throw additional time or money at it in order to make it last at least a year. It's really quite disappointing, really because the fabric still seems decent (again, tougher than my previous $300 Serta chair), but everything else, from quality control, part firment, and mechanical reliability, seems to be suffering. Review has been changed from a 3 star to 2 star.

I was scared off by other reviews saying the gas cylinder that moves the chair up and down fails after a couple months. I was also scared by other reviews saying the caster wheels don't rotate and roll smooth enough on any surface. So, you know what I did? I just kept everything below the seat from the other office chair I had and literally just slapped this chair on top of the other ssembly. Boom. I didn't like that chrome look anyway. So far so good. I've also read that the arms fall down after a while. Looks like if that happens, I'll have to unbolt everything and tighten the bolt on the arm rest itself. Otherwise, It's comfy enough and fits my fat ass. So all good there.

Overall this chair is good. Its easy to assemble, pretty comfortable, and the steel accents are a nice touch. My only issue with the chair are the wheels/casters. They don't even change direction when I attempt to roll in a certain direction. They just skid along the floor. I'm worried they are going to damage my hardwood floors so I've ordered different wheels/casters to replace the cheap ones that come with the chair. Also, if you have a cat: this chair's material looks nice but does not hold up to scratches at all. My cat had one good scratch sesh on it and left a small area looking pretty rough.

Wrong quantity of long screws were sent, and there was no instruction manual (albeit you don't really need one.) The screw mishap is the only knock on my experience, hence the 4 star rating.

Overall, the chair is comfortable and I believe to be a great value for the price and it was easy to put together. (They also included extra screws). The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the width between the arms is a bit too wide. It may be because I have the flip up arms but with the arms down, there's actually enough space for my arms to hang, while in a relaxed position, without them touching the armrests. If you're petite, you may want to consider the fixed arms. The other thing is, there's a lot of space between my head and the chair. I purchased a pillow to put on the top of the chair to act as a headrest. Hopefully, that'll serve as a remedy for that. And lastly, although I've only had the chair for 2 days, the covers made to cover the screws are already popping out.

I purchased the one with the flip-up armrest and I suggest that you tighten up the "locking" nuts (13mm) that mount the padded flip-up armrest bar to the armrest mount BEFORE you attempt to attach it to the chair seat and backrest. The problem is those nuts start to come loose (mine were not tightened down enough out of the box) when you raise and lower the armrest a few times making them sloppy & loose. Attaching the armrest to the chair seat and backrest is a PITA and you don't want to have to do it twice like had to. Also, in my opinion they should have used longer bolts to make it easier to attach the armrests. You really have to fight to get them to go in and not strip something. Other than that, the chair is comfortable and does what I need it to do.
