This was a great choice. The part fit perfect. The bearings in the old part must have been failing for a while. It was rather noisy and we just got used to it. The bearings finally failed completely forcing the repair. It was very easy and when the first cycle ran we thought it wasn't working because of how quiet it was. Who knew lol. Well worth the money, time and clean up. We now have a 15 year old brand new dishwasher.

I recently replaced the drain pump in my Frigidaire dishwasher with this compatible pump, and I’m really impressed with how easy the process was. I had a 20 year old black Frigidaire dishwasher (Electrolux FDB750RCB0) that quit draining. The pump would run, and was noisy, but wasn't draining. I checked the main pump and drain passages for debris (broken glass or plastic, etc.) and everything was clear. I manually drained the water (scoop and turkey baster) and then shut the water off, pulled the unit out, unplugged it, and laid it on its side. Removed the drain pump and inspected it, no debris, but the impeller didn't have any resistance to moving it (although the motor did, which is good). Ordered this baby, swapped it in, and it's quieter, drains properly, and my 20 year old dishwasher is back in action! Please note it does NOT come with the mounting hardware, you must re-use your old bracket and screws. However, it does fit, and has exactly the same size connections (electrical and plumbing). I included a picture showing the old vs. new pump, because there was a very slight difference in the backflow prevention flap. This new pump has a slightly smaller flap, but it seems to seal well and it works just fine. Very happy with this purchase! Much better than spending $800 on a new dishwasher!

I don't know if my old pump was bad because the line was clogged. But I replaced it with this new pump to make sure. The new pump went in with ease and performs well. My 20 plus year old dishwasher works better than ever now.
