I love this product. It is easy to assemble and is made of quality material. It is pretty heavy for it's size, but it is great for small campfires and cook out anywhere you go. It's assembly makes it super portable to take anywhere and cleaning is pretty simple as well. I highly recommend buying this product if you love to go camping or grilling anywhere. It's a 4* if buying as a stand-alone. Solid "5" with mods. I LOVE ease of construction that's light yet sturdy. Grill grid, as expected, is of average/very acceptable quality. It bent a bit (my bad!) under my BIG high end stock pots full of liquid meant for high heat cooking (NOT Teflon stainless steel meant for Med flame or lighter camping-weight cookware, i.e. I shamelessly abuse weight load 🥴). For easy camping/picnic/even eating a nicer lunch on the go for 1-2 people or a cute very small fire pit - just go for it! It folds into a flat notebook shape 😍 ready for the next adventure. (Already gave two as "college-bound kid" presents with silicone grill sheets and my fave #10 knife). Solved original grill buckling by turning grid a bit at first before adding a sturdier one underneath. (My enthusiastic demand was a TOTALLY UNREASONABLE weight load, so ... lol.) For frequent heavier use in one spot my work-around rocked: Found a set of two grills (with a slightly bigger surface) for $24 that will last a lifetime and countless other uses. Saved original grid for topping those, trips and added reusable grilling silicone mats in lieu of foil for more 'chef-stykle' flexibility with less recycling/clean-up on the go. I've used it for all of my meals over three months now while clearing out/refinishing our deck since grills arrived making the most of late Summer and Fall weather even in the rain under a patio umbrella. (GLAMPING!) As others suggested - oil the lower shelf used for ash collection and layer with foil for easy clean up. This cutie is used and abused a LOT. "Puzzle" base that folds flat is a real design gem! Perfect for tossing in a backpack or a tote for grilling anywhere. "Brat 1" and "Brat 2" keep sending cooking pics like some do with "Traveling Gnome". 🤦♀️🤣 Size complainers? People should look at product specs, pictures, reviews and even YT videos before ordering - it's clearly noted in two places - expect about a 11"x13" (PORTABLE) area. Use pans, woks and pots to maximize/increase cooking surface/volume. It's EXACTLY as described! ... show more

Pros: It packs up flat for easy storage and it comes with a storage bag. It can be used as a fire pit or charcoal grill, which makes it flexible. It’s also easy to assemble. Cons: The steal body is thin and it warped during first use. It did mostly spring back after cooling. The cooking grate is stainless, but it’s on the flimsier side. I question the long term durability of the grill. It comes with wire tongs, which are completely useless. You can toss those. Overall, I do recommend it for the price. It’s not the best grill and it’s not the best fire pit, but it’s convenient. It’s good enough for a quick camping trip. ... show more

I would recommend this. This barbecue is great. We use hardwood only no charcoal no charcoal lighter fluid strictly hardwood. The nice thing about this grill is all you need is a paper towel to wipe away the ash and put it down on the ashtray then put the front and back inside to inside and the same to the sides. You now have a seasoned barbecue don’t ever wash a barbecue wipe it gently with the rag, but never wipe it clean you wipe away the seasoning, but this overall is an outstanding barbecue and I highly recommend recommended it cooked very well. ... show more

This is a great little grill took it to the beach worked great to grill a beef tenderloin and sea scallops used a piece of aluminum foil for a lid cleaned up nicely and stores in a nice pouch great design .

This is really a great idea/concept. The actual grill base part itself is actually very nice. The steel material is reasonably thick, the assembly is clever, and the whole thing packs up flat in a nice carrying case. The problem is the grate. It is pathetically thin wire, was slightly bent when I started grilling for the first time, and after one grilling session, you can see how much it bowed down. It’s really a shame if this had a reasonably good grill grate it is one heck of an idea and is really quite nice. 5 stars with a good grate. Price was decent, stability is good. Love this little grill. Sturdy once assembled, and holds plenty of charcoal for grilling a full dinner (e.g. brats and veggies) for 2-3 people. The grate works well, but I do wish the grate were a little sturdier like the rest of the grill. Disassembled it’s very flat and stores nicely in the included bag.
