Waaay better than my previous alarm clock. I have a bad OCD tic where I won't trust that an alarm is set. So I'll click back and forth through the actual time and alarm time several times until it feels right. But with this specific alarm clock, I don't have this problem because it's easier to trust the alarm is set with the way it's designed. The alarm indicator is a light that appears above or below the colon INSTEAD of being on the opposite end of the PM indicator. It may not seem like much, but with my eyes being able to see 3 lights all in one place, instead of having to dart my eyes to the side of the clock where it may show either 1 light or 2 lights depending on the time of day, my bad "alarm clock OCD" tic doesn't happen, saving me 1-2 minutes of my time every night. Dim setting will change itself randomly, but it's easy to correct when needed. And it can be hard to see the time on the more dimmer but easier on the eyes setting. Also, finding the right button at night could accidentally cause the alarm demo to go off, which might disturb family or neighbors depending on the volume you have it at. However, compared to my last battery backup alarm clock which had countless other problems that this one does NOT have, I am more than happy with this one. In other words, the problems this alarm clock does have are at least tolerable. And after the many hours of research I had done on Amazon for a new alarm clock, I don't think I could have found a better one. I may give it 4 stars but compared to the competition it's still the best.

Alarm clock is very easy to use, it’s easy enough for an 8 yr. old to learn and perfect for any one in general who simply needs it for the alarm function. Each button is self explanatory so we didn’t have to use the instructions. You set the time, dimmers to your preference, set Alarm 1, then choose alarm sound (some good options) and volume and set. The Monday-Friday option in the back was a plus. Alarm comes on and hit snooze or off - easy and serves its purpose.

Absolutely love this clock! Exactly what I was looking for. Does not take up a lot of space. Hubby goes to bed earlier than me so the night light is perfect for coming in the room and not disturbing him. Has several brightness levels as well which helps depending on the room size. I on the other hand cannot sleep with a light in the room so once I go to bed I can turn off the night light and turn down the display to very low or completely off which was the main reason I purchased the clock. The clock is very easy to program. The snooze and night light button is larger than all the other buttons so easy to find in the dark. Almost forgot, I love being able to choose what color night light I want or just put it where is rotates through all the colors. I highly recommend!

I like the Large display... and the choice of alarm sounds... I bought one for each kid they now are able to set their own alarms... the Only problem Ive had us.... my cat likes to smack it until she shuts the alarm off!!! Lol

For several years now, I've been using an alarm clock radio by this manufacturer that has turned out to be the best of its kind I've ever had. It has a highly legible display; settings for time, day, and outside temperature; a snooze button; USB ports; a dual alarm system that allows you to set different times for weekdays and weekends; and a full menu of alarm sounds to accommodate anyone's choice. We've now replaced our bedside tables, though, and I needed an even more compact alarm clock for the new space. Although it doesn't have a radio or shows the daily temperature, neither of those is a deal-breaker for me, and the features in this model more than make up for their absence, since the quality of the basics makes it a wonderful purchase. After all, in addition to having other sources for radio and weather, I'm still using my original clock, just not in my bedroom, where this model now takes pride of place and in a more compact model. I've become quite a fan and supporter for this manufacturer and certainly look forward to continuing being their customer. This alarm clock is easy to use, the menu of wake-up sounds should accommodate anyone's choice, its color display allows you the option of both color and intensity, it has a battery back-up system, and on and on. Importantly, though, I'd like to offer a corrective: Don't fall for the description because this isn't an alarm clock only for children or teens but an all-around, efficient, attractive, effective choice that will work for all ages. Highly, highly recommended.
