I purchase about 10-15 fans every year. When choosing what fan to purchase - I look for design, value, quality and ease of installation. The design of this fan is great. I was especially impressed with the quality and look of the blades. The remote is very easy and adjusts in just about every way imaginable. I did not like the cold white of the lighting but the seller is working with me to get a warm white led part to change out the lighting to me and my customers want of a warmer tone light. When I change out this part I will then have my new favorite fan for my customers!

Style: 52" Walnut Ceiling Fan
My main concern was if it moved high volumes of air. I am not disappointed. I like the look and it looks like pictured. Blades are real wood. The motor is very small and lite. I did have concerns about this, but it is plenty so far. I have a 10 degree ceiling and the small down rod leaves plenty of room, but it also has a longer one if you need it. The remote is great because the ceiling is high and those swinging chains are unattractive. The light is also contemporary and bright with LEDs.

We bought four Obabala 52" ceiling fans. Installation was very easy. The fan blades material is very light and flawless manufactured. The fan motor is very quiet no wobbling. Remote control very responsive and easy to use. Only four stars cuz the light is very bright and can't be regulated but it can be change to a warmer color in which I still find very bright. Overall a great product would buy again!

I am very happy with our Obabala fan. Initially there was an issue with the remote properly transmitting. I contacted customer service. They responded immediately and resolved the issue. I have purchased a second Obabala fan and plan on a third. The fan is stylish, quiet and moves a lot of air. I am very happy with this purchase.

Style: 52''Red Walnut Ceiling Fan
The media could not be loaded. This fan is absolutely stunning and modern. It makes our room feel so much bigger and comfortable. I am really happy that I don't have to worry about the blades falling downward like the fans we used to have. The walnut finish matches the other woodgrain in our home. Not familiar with the brand Obabala at first, but since it is moisture resistant and looks like a classic ceiling fan 3 blade strut, I chose it. Shipping arrived quickly and the packaging is well designed. Each piece is carefully designed and crafted. The fan blades are solid wood, not even veneer, which is rare. It's rare to find a ceiling fan with such exquisite workmanship at a cheap price, with the top ball joint and hanger made of metal. The motor is dense and strong, with very high quality sealed ball bearings on the top and bottom. I used to have an electrician come to my home to install the ceiling fans, and the installation was too expensive, so I tried to do it myself, and I followed the matching procedure in the manual to match the remote. By the way, the installation manual is very descriptive. It took about an hour or so and I installed it easily First impression is that the fan is very balanced. They have to balance these blades at the factory. Since they are solid wood, they screw directly onto the motor instead of some metal blade adapters. There is very good airflow. It's not bad compared to five blades. Being able to adjust the speed in 6-level increments is a big improvement over the old 3-level. The DC motor is very energy efficient and when I first turned it on, I absolutely couldn't stand the lights because I don't like blue LED lights. Then I turned it off and on, only to realize that it has 3 different color options. Every time you turn it off and on, it changes the color temperature. The fan is completely silent, no humming, shaking, etc. Only the sound of air rushing.

I just installed this fan, and am very happy with its smooth and silent operation. My only beef is the instructions, which were comically bad. I'd like to suggest the Chinese manufacturers hire an English speaker to write their installation instructions, as these were very hard to decipher.
