General Use: The controls on this unit take some getting used to but once you get them down it's easy to use. I'm also pleased to report while this thing is running the sides are safe to touch and it doesn't get too hot like some other models I've tested where they get so hot you might burn yourself touching the side of the unit while cooking. Rotisserie: The rotisserie feature works well and I made a 5.5lb bird with it. The spindle appears to be of metal construction, unlock some other units I tested where the spindle was plastic. The included "Basket" snugly fits the Costco Hot Dogs!... 170F at 30 minutes on 700W and they are perfectly prepared every time, just like you get them hot in the store which was HUGE bonus for me as I couldn't find anything out there to heat them properly due to their large size. French Fries: I purchased the separate Drum basket accessory and can happily report it easily makes 2lb's of fries reliably. Dehydrator?: During this 30 day period my Excalibur Dehydrator failed after 2 hours and I used this for 34 hours running continuously at 105F to finish the job, did excellent work. I haven't had opportunity to make a steak yet with the grill plate using the included thermometer but the above success stories are enough to make me keep and recommend the unit to others at this point. I researched this machine forward and backwards and Now that I have it and have been using, it’s Amazing! It’s so easy to Clean, and actually quite easy to use in general. We’ve had steaks, and we’ve had hamburgers and Catfish, etc, etc. I’m looking forward to trying out cooking so many other dishes too. Like scallops and perhaps biscuit and more…. I just can’t get over how EASY it is to Clean.. I’m Really Happy with This Machine and would buy again. ... show more

New to air fryers, but wanted one at least big enough to fit a rotisserie chicken in it (if desired). We were informed that air fryers are loud, this one is NOT loud. Very quiet and very effective. Cooks our meals (chicken, veggies and/or whatever) and keeps them juicy and very tasteful. I was not aware of the health benefits of air fryers until reading about it. My family and I are very cognizant of what we put into our bodies and love food so this was the best of healthy and delicious options while still minimizing prep time for dinner. Minimal effort with maximum results. Definitely the perfect addition to any kitchen with a little extra counter space. Would HIGHLY recommend this air fryer if you’re in the market for one, which if you’re reading this review, you probably are! ... show more

I would have given this product a 5 star rating. I do however give it a 5 star for cooking and ease of cleaning. I purchased this product on Dec 18, 2023. Within a week I noticed the letters coming off of the touch buttons (see my picture upload). I have a microwave oven with touch buttons (black with white letters) for over 6 years and never had them come off. Very disappointed. Amazon did send me a replacement. This should not of happened on a new product. I felt as if this Air-fryer was years old. Therefore I give it a 4 star rating. FYI - I never rubbed the service with any cleaning products. We noticed the letters warn off from pressing with your fingers. This is why I felt it was a defective product. However, on the replacement I did noticed the fan within the Air-fryer is very quite. ... show more

We've purchased and used this for some time and we'd like to say that we love this oven! We're older and have a smaller household now, and a big oven is just too much work. It cooks meals almost TOO well. When following cooking guidelines for this item is done properly, your food tastes better than it would if you use your own oven. And it's healthier as well. The media could not be loaded. I got my nuwave in today and went out and bought a chicken to rotisserie. It was simple to use and the chicken turned out nice and juicy. I can't wait to use the other features.

    • UPDATED - Beware, unreliable

I was super excited about my new air fryer. I loved my previous Black & Decker and used it daily but it was quite small. I wanted a larger air fryer so I could got more per batch of homemade French fries. My first test was some frozen tater tots. Began cooking them and, when it was time to shake them, the bottom drawer came completely off, fell on the floor, with the basket of tater tots in my hand still. In shock, because I am a veteran at shaking air fryer baskets and how the releases work, I quickly placed the hot basket with the tots on my silicone sink dryer rack. I scurried to find oven mitts to pick up the hot air fryer bottom basket from the floor, and put it in the sink to cool before washing. The bottom basket still seemed to get some dents and bubbles up on the bottom. I washed it, dried, and finished cooking the tots. When I shook the tots then, I was super mindful of avoiding the unlock button. Still, the basket fell off. I was prepared with a silicone mat on the counter but this is a dangerous design flaw. The stainless steel bottom of the fryer basket seemed to have a lot stick to it and it was a bit of a pain to move items while shaking and to clean. The tots turned out well though. Update: I decided to keep it because it does cook well and I like the size. My partner mentioned that with his large air fryer we choose to drop the basket out before shaking the food simply due to it being lighter and easier to shake that way. We decided that is what we will do with this one too out of necessity (instead of choice) but it is also lighter to shake. UPDATE: So, on numerous reviews, people mentioned that after a short period of time, the unit stopped working. Ours stopped working properly after about 4 uses. Very disappointing.
