I ordered this the same day my dedicated air fryer started acting funny (cooked fine but the screen wouldn’t work). I tested them both at the same time cooking frozen pastries and dinner items at 370ºF for 15min, and they came out identical. Both perfectly cooked all the way through, browned, and crispy. There’s absolutely no reason to keep my old air fryer OR my countertop oven anymore. What’s more, this unit is the same size as my old oven, yet the inside is much bigger, and the fryer basket holds 25-50% more than the air fryer did. The image with the roast chicken isn’t a lie. I think you could fit a medium sized chicken in this thing. The overall countertop footprint isn’t much bigger, the back just goes out a couple inches deeper. The control panel has a lot going on, but is pretty intuitive if you play around with a minute. I never read the instructions for them and I’ve got it figured out. That said, the unit comes with very good instructions and a really nice illustrated cookbook with recipes divided in sections for different functions of the machine- air fry, bake, broil, etc. Also, my first unit arrived in not-so-good shape, Like someone sat on it and it leaned to one side, and the door wouldn’t close or align right. It must have been a factory defect because it was packed very safely. Anyways, I got the returns started and had my new unit here in three days. The new one is perfect. I’m really happy with this oven, and pleasantly surprised as combining appliances usually leads to subpar performance. I think it’s good for the price.

I recently got a NuWave countertop oven I made my new default oven. I find it easier to cook on these oven's that seemed to have graduated from old fashioned toaster ovens to hybrid convection ovens. NuWave was the one that marked those convection air ovens with Plexiglas and a nice fan to grill steaks and cook things like a conventional only faster. Better than toaster ovens when it came to meats and most things save maybe toast. So, I couldn't help but rave about the company using their long expertise in the industry to make a countertop that really blew away the competition. Mind you I've used and reviewed quite a few and passed them on to friends and family. The slightly higher end model I'm using now does have 500-degree heat, and a temperature probe, but otherwise is much the same. Both ovens can control the upper and lower burners as different percentages of power. This makes getting the proper cook from a pizza, dinner rolls, and casserole dishes done properly. This has a lot of the advanced features of its big brother with a slightly lower max temperature, and no cooking probe. It's big however inside and out, and may not be suitable for shorter counters, and if pantry shelves are right above it may radiate more heat than wanted, but for outdoor or kitchen island, or a decent space, it works well. The caution it will get hot on top, but I store extra pans and other things on top and they are mostly fine. It's nice because it's made of stainless steel, keep clean easily, and doesn't smell like it's melting as with some different makes from my past testing. It's also much larger, only a few of many I've tested could even accept a 12-13" pizza, and it was difficult to get it right. If frozen and not fresh I'd melt the cheese in a microwave and partially cook it and the crust before transferring to the air oven or risk burning or uncooked dough. The fact you can control the heat of the upper and lower burners means you can crisp the crust and brown the cheese evenly. I'll probably gift this to family, so I wanted to limit the test, so I lined the enameled pan with parchment and put in one of those frozen rising crust pizzas. I set the bottom to sixty percent and the top to 40 and limited the overall temperature to 350 degrees so it would rise properly without burning. I have a square stone you can get but didn't use it here as I wanted to try out the enamel pan. The pizza out of the box was actually 11.25 inches in diameter so it fit in the pan pretty well. I usually cook thinner pizzas, so I cook them in under 10 minutes at high temperature, but this one I did for nearly 25 minutes. It really came out fantastic. The high fan speed helped to cook the top evenly and you have decent temperature control. Now some ovens will increment in units of a single degree and this one goes five degrees at a time. That is still resolution that allows you to fine tune the cooking, and frankly the ones that go by one are tricker to adjust. None of the NuWave models I have used a rotisserie, but if I wanted one, I'd get something more or less dedicated. Cleaning up after one is kind of a mess so I'd rather just roast my chickens. Easy to access controls and a dozen presets, can do most cooking jobs without resorting to a bunch of specialize pans and racks. Just the perfect basic, a secure main rack, a fryer basket. I'd recommend putting either the enamel baking pan under if crumbs or oil will drip or lining the fry basket with parchment. The enamel pans to roast baked pizza or biscuits etc. on top. Usual air oven features for counter, crumb tray, drop down door with heat resistant glass window. Vented stainless steel sides to cool down after shutting off. Door handle stops door when down to temporarily provide support for hot food in need of stirring or seasoning. Large button to start and stop cooking to check food, and separate ON/OFF. One of the best of a new generation the begin to rival both conventional ovens and dedicated air fryers. Recommended.

My old (egg shaped) air fryer was on it's last legs so I decided to give this one a try. It's definitely a bit more work than the egg shaped ones. I need two oven mitts to take out the tray to shake or flip whatever I'm cooking compared to just one bare hand with my old one. This one is much easier to warm up pizza slices though. Controls are easy to use. Just be aware, it does get very hot on top, so don't leave anything on it when in use.

This is great for a tight space as it's nice and compact. Although, with that, you don't have a lot of room. Air frying a whole chicken is a tight squeeze. In bake mode, it cooks really fast so if you're doing something like chicken nuggets and the packaging says 10 minutes, be sure to check on them around 8 minutes. One thing that is concerning to me is that the outer edges do get really warm. It's kind of an advantage if you want to warm something up on the top while cooking something else. We actually found that to be handy, but just keep in mind that you'll want to have space around the top and sides. I didn't realize when I purchased this that it was also able to dehydrate. I haven't tried jerky yet but it makes fantastic banana chips!
