I love these pans. If you're looking for an option that is not a PFAS/PFOS nonstick, but easier to work with than traditional stainless steel, this is your bet! The first time I ever spent $50 for one pan, but when it arrived I saw it was a real work of art. It is beautiful and is made of high quality materials. It works great and works excellent when you go by the directions. I needed a pan that was not aluminum, didn't have toxins, that was non-stick, could take metal spatulas and you could cook without oil. It had all the characteristics that I needed except the last one. Why do you need to use oil in a non-stick pan. The point of buying a non-stick pan is oil free frying. I had a cheaper brand that met all my conditions, but the surface didn't hold up. I love this pan. How can I cook without oil in it? ... show more

I wasn't able to find my original review to edit, but I had a problem with the first one. It was slightly convex on the bottom, making it spin freely on my glass cooktop. After a few uses I resorted to using heavy objects to keep the pan from spinning. Finally I decided I had enough for a relatively expensive product, but by then I was 2 days beyond the 30 return window. Amazon suggested I contact PyleUSA, which I did. Their customer service was superb and they quickly sent me a free replacement. The replacement is perfect and now I have a favorite pan. It will be painful to put the original pan in the metal recycling bin, but it really is useless so at least it's getting recycled. A word about the non-stick: Not entirely accurate, Food does stick, but the pan cleans very easily either by soaking or just put it in the dishwasher. You can use metal turners for the food, in fact I recommend it because then you can scrape the food off of the pan while cooking. Overall, I'm very happy with the pan and the service. ... show more

I was slightly hesitant to purchase given some of the reviews, but after cooking with this pan for two days, I can confidently say that this is an AMAZING pan *if you simply follow the instructions*. I do a *lot* of home cooking and have put this pan through its paces across all meals in the past 24 hours and it has produced results that my family have called “best ever” as in “best ever burger” or “scrambled eggs” or “sunny side up eggs” or “grilled cheese.” The pan out performed my expectations in every way. Great sear on the burgers, eggs came out perfectly in every variation and the grilled cheese was perfection. The included lid made finishing dishes (melting cheese, keeping warm) easy. While others charge for a lid, this pan includes one that has a stay cool handle and venting hole like the most expensive pans of this class. The secret to all of this is following the instructions. I cleaned and seasoned the pan before using. I then used an appropriate fat for each dish and lower heat than I would with other pans. Everything went great. The pan is very efficient, so you don’t need high heat to get a sear and I have been adding fats for cooking in all of my pans (watch any pro chef and you will see that this is normal), so this was nothing new. I am completely thrilled with this pan and will be purchasing some other sizes. Follow the instructions and you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I wasn't quick to write a review as I wanted to see how they tested over a week of use. I typically don't eat out much, given the current pandemic. I find myself cooking almost all my meals at home. I have used this 8'in pan about twice a day. Morning (breakfast) and evening (Dinner). I also bought the 10' pan and 12' wok that was delivered around the same time. Let me say after the first couple of days I started to notice that my food would start sticking to the pan. Right! I was thinking to myself after only a couple of days. being a "non stick" pan I thought perhaps I wasn't using enough oil. which kind of defeats the purpose why I bought them in the first place. I thought maybe I got a "defective product". But, I have another two to test so who knows. I pretty much tell myself to NOT consider it a non stick pan or a very limited non stick. My eggs for breakfast completely stick to the pan without a lot of oil or if i scramble them on low heat there surprisingly still ends up a layer stuck to the pan. I don't use the 10' in twice a day, usually bring that bad boy out for dinner meals. So I'm thinking of giving it more time before I come to a conclusion, It seems to be on the same path however. What i will say, is they look sexy as heck, heat up quick which is nice and the handle does not get hot. they pretty much sell a set that includes 8', 10' and two 12' (one pan and a wok with same size) but i bought them separate because i wanted to swap out and have two 8' pans instead of two 12' ones. Would I recommend them: if you tend to be heavy with oil or if you want a nice looking pan to display. Hope this review is helpful. NOTE: 02/17 i updated my rating from 1 to three stars. maybe i was being a tad hard on these guys. I do use more oil then i'd like. But, they do the job. I love this fryer. I bought the 12 inch and it's huge and deep. Solid build. I wouldn't recommend metal utensils but it would be capable of withstanding light usage. Heats up very fast and evenly. Non stick is excellent though I would use some oil to cook eggs. Cleaning is effortless. Excellent value and easy to use ... show more
