I haven't had the chance to use them yet, but they seem well made and sharp enough to do what I'll need to do with them. I like that they have the removable safety tips and love the handy zippered carrying bag. I can throw them in my toolbox and still keep them all together.

As with all wood working tools, some fine tuning required. Purchased these chisels so I wouldn't need to strike my expensive Marples chisels. All the chisels had a hooked side edge that needs burnishing. And all but the 1/4" had small imperfections in the blade edge. Stropping would fix most of the roughness. The handles also have plastic nubs that will irritate your hand, they're easily trimmed. Overall, they're not bad. ... show more

This is a great buy! 4 different options of sizes, and each comes with a cap for protection. The carry bag is even made of high quality material and everything feels great! There is a large hammer-strike zone on the end of each of these for easy use as well!

They seem to be a really good value , but time will tell. I am not a woodworker , but do enjoy carpentry and so far , these chisels have been quite helpful for my needs. If you watch videos about wood chisels , you can really get fanatical about sharpening them and a true aficionado of wood chisels always sharpens them to perfection before their first use , but for me , they seem sharp enough out of the package . ... show more

The wood chisel set package had been opened and taped back. All 4 black plastic tip covers were missing. I haven't used them yet but they look okay.
