Update: NOT HAPPYš”. 12/23/2024 Machine making loud noise and making NO ICE. Iām sick of these ice machines not working. This time I have warranty. Will place a claim. 11/10/24. Two months in and ice STILL ACCESSIBLE! 10/1/24. So far so good. 1 month in and making perfect pebble ice. Never have to wait. Always available for family of 4 who uses ice. Iām pleased. Been thru 3 with last 2 not working with 1st year. 1st ice machine bought in 2020 lasted 4yrs working constantly. NOT LOUD. Love the backlight and convenience of pull out tank. 0 Stars. Horrible Product. Worse Customer Service. Buyer Beware! So, outlined below is the history, correspondence and documentation to back up my zero star review. Purchased item from Amazon on 9/27/24. Roughly 6 months later, in April 2025, the ice maker started making a horrible grinding noise which our next door neighbors could hear. The noise only stopped if the machine was unplugged. This meant that it also rendered it ineffective and unusable. I reached out to Dan with Silonn Customer Support on 4/7/25. āNewā ice maker was shipped. I use quotes because I honestly think the replacement was refurbished. However, exactly 6 months later, in October 2025, the machine experienced the same issue. I sent a follow up email to Dan on 10/20/25. After 2 emails were ignored, I called the actual customer service number. I spoke to a rep named Dylan. He immediately told me sales were the only group who could help me and offer the exception to replace the icemaker since the original purchase date is what they use for the one-year warranty. I was less than one month out. He mustāve repeated himself 3-4 times. After waiting about 3 days, someone from sales finally reached out to me, asking for the same documentation (ie Amazon invoice + short video) I previously forwarded to them. Almost 3 days later, they informed me that the one-year warranty had lapsed, and there was nothing they could do. However, as a courtesy, they provided me with a promo code for 10% off of services to get the machine repaired. What a joke. This is honestly some of the worst customer service Iāve ever experienced. The proof is in the pudding. The machine is clearly only built to last six months, which is absurd. With a price tag of $269.99, it should longer. Considering Iāve seen other brands/models for under $100 with 4-star reviews stating they lasted at 3+ years. I would definitely NOT recommend this icemaker to anyone. Let alone doing business with the company. Very disappointed in the way, this whole thing was handled.

I love this icemaker! It can be kind of noisy, but I donāt mind it. The icemaker is always full. I highly recommend!

DO NOT BUY!
I have had this ice maker for about 6 months. Lets be clear this is the nugget maker. it appears they allow reviews of the non nugget maker on same product page driving up its Review results. This thing is totaly trash. First week - worked great would make about 3 full runs of ice 0 isses just add water Week 2 - followed the cleaning guide and ensured unit always got drained and cleaned properly. after 1 month the machine would make a loud grinding sound.. (this is the part that spins to break free n cause the ice to slide down. would turn machine off. contact support about the loud noise and that i would be lucky if it made even 1 tray full of ice. Support stated "this is normal for these machines" you will need to unplug it let it "cool down" run a clean cycle and repeat till you get a full tray of ice as this is "normal" this is total crap! i supplied them with the loud grinding video proof of purchasee. showed them i have followed cleaning and maintnance. Machine will still not produce more then 1 or 2 scoops of ice before loud grinding sound is present again. Total waste of money. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!

Great for 11 Months
We loved it for the first 11 months but now it is dying and making this horrendous screeching noise and flashing red.

Great ice maker
Our $3000 plus Samsung refrigerator started having problems with the ice maker shortly after we purchased it in 2016, where some water overflowed into the maker and jammed the maker. We hayto constantly use the automatic defrost mode of the Samsung refrigerator to unstick the ice maker. The ice maker stopped making ice and the water tank started leaking in 2024. The countertop ice maker is a great addition to our home. The maker makes great and plenty ice and accomplishes what the Samsung refrigerator couldnāt accomplish. When first starting the ice maker, about the first 6 containers of ice had to be discarded because of a plastic taste/smell. Since the Samsung refrigerator ice maker doesnāt work, we transfer ice from the portable ice maker into the refrigerator ice container to store and dispense the ice.

It's making ice
Bought as recondition don't know what was wrong with it at first to be sent back. We let it sit for 1 day as recommended then started it up tried to hook up to wifi to no avail but at least it still makes ice and pretty quickly. To me definately not worth the orig.$360,but for the $230 we paid was a little better to swallow

Noise maker
Machine is making noise and only stops when I unplug it. I didnāt bother getting it repaired or anything. I just brought a different brand. This month made a year since I had it but it started messing up after about 7/8months
