I installed 2 of these over the weekend. Installation was quick and easy. I used the "Standard" night vision setting which is phenomenal! I have 1 lamp post in the front yard with a standard LED bulb that dims a few hours after it turns on. The picture these cameras produce is amazing at night (and daytime too). There is no need for me to use IR (which is available) or the spotlight. The standard setting is incredible! I've tried the motion detection settings (human, vehicle, and pet) and they all work flawlessly. No more false alarms from leaves or shadows. The kit comes with an auxiliary solar panel that I may need to install. One of the cameras is about 70% blocked by the rain gutter and I suspect it will not charge efficiently in that spot. It is still at over 90% charge after 3 days of use, so it may be getting some charge. I do wish there was a way in the app to determine if the battery is charging or if the camera is getting sufficient solar power. The other camera is probably 20% blocked from the sun but is appears to be charging very well. Overall I would definitely recommend these cameras to anyone on the fence about purchasing. The price is a little steep, but this is definitely one of those items that you get what you pay for. I'm hoping these last as I'm no longer paying for a subscription to access my clips. It is local storage, but the clips are stored in the home base and not the camera which provides a little more security. I think Eufy offers a cloud service with subscription pricing, but I don't think there is a need for it. Overall, I am very impressed and pleased with this system. ... show more

I had an Arlo Pro 2 camera system that I've used for the past 6 years and wanted to upgrade. An upgrade doesn't even cover it! Setup and Installation is easy even for an old man like me. Quality, well part of it is to be expected going to a 4k camera system but the image is fantastic and the night vision is unbelievable!! Another very noticeable thing I didn't hear anyone else talk about when I did my research is the speed. The time it takes from clicking on a camera till you receive an image is fast. Way faster than the Arlo system. Another thing I noticed is the charging and battery life. I thought something was wrong at first, it looked like I the cameras weren't using any power and not charging. Upon closer inspection I realized it was just using so little and charging so little it doesn't move the graph noticeably. The downside, well there are very few things to complain about with this system but one thing is the documentation. There is very little to no instructions for the software the cameras use, or at least I couldn't find much. I asked customer support and they gave me a link to a video that was less than helpful. But if you're not scared to play with the system you can figure out what does what and how to set it up to suit yourself. The only other thing I can think of is it feels like a lot of things are still in testing and aren't implemented fully. This has mostly to do with the AI part of the software. Now they tell you in the software that pet, vehicle and something else is still in testing but even the Face ID which is implemented doesn't really do anything. It will tell you in the notification that a person that you have "Named" has been detected. But that doesn't work for pets & vehicles, at least not yet. That's all it does, I thought I might be able to adjust things like don't record my wife walking around in the backyard when she is playing with her flowers type stuff. I have a feeling that will come but right now the AI doesn't do a whole lot. All in all I highly recommend this product, at least after a months use. If things change I will come back and edit my review. For right now, eufy scores a home run this system is fantastic! ... show more

The best yet! These are now my 3rd try for a usable security camera system. And finally - these really do the job. What sold me to purchase was the E340 doorbell camera with the second camera viewing the floor area where packages would be delivered. Brilliant! Add to that a great sale - couldn't pass it up. * E340 doorbell camera works great. I have one on battery, the other on house doorbell power. I was able to use the internal contacts to trigger the normal house doorbell chimes - definite benefit. The down-looking second camera is perfect for those of us receiving many packages. * Solar-powered outdoor camera: These are great. The 4K color image is beautiful, even at night! Battery size seems sufficient to maintain constant100% charge . * Motion detection: Easy to set up, but powerful. Very easy to set the detection zone in the image. You can specify whether to identify humans or vehicles. This detection is AI-powered and seems quite accurate. You can even do a bit of training. It will show you a small image it has identified and ask you if it is correct. If not, it will ask you further info. * Solar power: The built-in solar cells are keeping my 2 outdoor cameras at 100% full time. * System setup: The hub is small and works very well. * Wi-Fi signal: The cameras connect readily to the house Wi-Fi with a strong signal.
