7/2021 NEVER AGAIN. Top part worked May/June. Freezer never cooled down. July top part stopped cooling past 40’s. Called Galanz numerous times over the past month for a service request. Didn’t think to ask for a ticket number because they know my name/num/address which is all tied to calls and account. You get their overflow call center when you call. If you miss their call when they call you back, you have to call back to get in line again with their overflow call center. I never got to speak to anyone on a call that I initiated. They always say, we’ll all you back. Too bad and never mind if youre an adult with a job where you cant be glued to your phone. Today they finally say they *cannot* help me. They gave a number for service. Service tells me the roller coaster issue is a lost cause. “Call Galanz back ma’am” Galanz tells me mail the following: cut the plug off, bag it, take the serial number stickers off, any stickers, mail them by USPS only. In 8-10 wks you’ll be issued a check for the base price minus taxes. You dispose of the machine at your own cost.” So what shall I do without a fridge for 8-10 wks? I have to to pay for its disposal and no refund on taxes and warranty cost? Assurant would not step in to help because it was less than a year. I would not recommend to anyone! 5/2021 I like how sleek it looks. Love the doors and freezer on the bottom. Has tiny casters/wheels that I hope hold up and are nice to my wooden floors. Just one tiny issue, i am missing a tiny couple of screws that go into the handle and tighten with a small wrench. I called amazon and they tried to say they would send a whole new fridge. Completely unnecessary for something found within the fridge packaging. Called and left a message. Never got a call back. ... show more

    • GALANZ Refrigerator not worth the box came in.
I bought this refrigerator from Home Depot and it broke down in within a year. They returned my money. I bought the same refrigerator from Amazon. The compressor went out in less than two years. Parts are impossible to get; it is truly a beautiful piece of junk.

I love my refrigerator, but sometimes it makes loud noise at night time and it’s uneven for some reason when I opened the refrigerator I can tell us unbalance I even make sure my kitchen floor was leveled. It’s something at the bottom of the refrigerator that’s making it uneven other than that it’s amazing refrigerator. Unfortunately I don’t have the box and I definitely can’t take it back because it’s too heavy for me to carry. ... show more

I never thought I would purchase an appliance from AMZN, but I could not find anything else under 30” width that I liked. I waited to review the performance so I could give an accurate review. It arrived with a couple of tiny packing dents on the left door so I was refunded a small portion of $$ and I kept it. You will need an extra few inches in width to accommodate the full opening of the double doors. Remember, the delivery option is just basically drop and go but does not include set-up or connecting the ice-maker. If you plan on using that feature, be sure you have an actual installer with you upon delivery. You will also need to attach the handles to the doors with the tools provided. Very happy with the craftsmanship and the performance so far. The wheels on the bottom seem very sturdy and makes it easy to maneuver. BRAVO !! ... show more

01-05-22 Finally got an email notifying me that the request has been handed off to local a service technician. Have not been contacted yet as to when they will actually come out to fix the refrigerator. 12-28-21 Still no word back from the service rep, sent an email about a week ago with no updates so far. Nearly a month of waiting without a refrigerator. 12-17-21 2 weeks of waiting, still no fridge to use, for a service rep to contact me about when they will fix the fridge. Called them about a week ago and no progress. 12-02-21 6 months in and the fridge has already failed. Customer service has been great! I have a feeling it’ll fail in another 6 months just outside of warranty. I’ll be taking notes when the tech is here for repairs. ... show more

We bought this recently and it showed up with a dent and missing screw to the handle (the handles fit funky too, kind of offset) and the doors don't close smoothly (with a clunky feel like they are hitting together too much). We still need to test the temperature control and the icemaker but I'm already lowering my expectation of this purchase just based on how it's presented so far :( I really don't want to pay $3000 for a fridge but I'm thinking I probably got what I paid for. ... show more
