I was very skeptical when this arrived. But it is a very nice small ice machine. It makes the good soft ice like from sonic. It is easy to clean and fill with water. It just doesn't make a whole lot of ice at one time. It is not quiet but it is not loud. It makes ice pretty fast It works perfect for my husband and me . It says that it won't hold the ice but it will hold it for at least 15 hours or so. I think it is a good value for the price and I would buy it again.

We use ours 24/7 non-stop. It works well and I like the small square(ish) ice nuggets. I'm an ice-cruncher, so it works well for me. Everyone else in the house likes it too. It's held up for the first 3 months (going into 4) so far. It's fairly quiet, but sometimes when the house is quiet, you can hear it working its little heart out. We use the cleaning tablets to try and keep it clean and functioning longer (This is the 3rd ice maker we've purchased in 2 years). The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is I don't like the bin tipping out, as it makes it easy for the ice to jump out of the bin when you're using the scoop to break up the ice a bit and scoop some out into our glasses or tumblers. Otherwise, it seems to be a good product.

This has been a terrific find. The size is big enough that it has a big enough capacity for a lot of ice, but isn’t too big that it takes up too much space on the counter. It’s relatively quiet, but can get louder with more use. Overall, it’s a great choice for those who want a particular type of ice and want it made quickly.

The media could not be loaded. 12/20/25 UPDATE: This icemaker died VERY loudly this week, making it the most expensive ice maker on earth with an operating life of ONLY 2 MONTHS. I am over it. I have had 2 very pricey Euhomy ice makers in 7 MONTHS BOTH DIE. No, I do not recommend. 2 completely different models and neither survived normal ice. I am LIVID. ——————————————————— Original review: I just received this last week and was able to clean and setup per the instructions. It is an attractive looking countertop icemaker with a nominal footprint. It is quieter than previous models I have had (bullet ice makers and nugget ice makers alike). It makes a great amount of ice, more than my previous Euhomy maker. I am only rating this maker 3 stars, while my previous Euhomy I slammed with a 1 star as it died in exactly 5 months of ownership. The prices of these icemakers are not cheap, and one expects them to last longer than 5 months. We will see how this model does on that front.... Gripes about Euhomy aside, things I like about this model include the blue light (can turn it on or off if you like), the well lit and easy to read status or selection modes (make ice, clean, add water), and the slide out water reservoir. I REALLY like the slide out reservoir. There is also a reserve reservoir in the back, which is nice having the volume. It just seems cleaner having your water above, rather than below, so gravity isn't pulling dust or little flying bugs right into your water area. This does not mean you don't have to clean the machine, so don't get too excited. I like the tip-out ice drawer better than lifting the top lid. This unit seems to have more separating pieces, which is good for cleaning but I am trying to determine how clean I can actually get the interior bottom clean. Aside from sticking your hand into the tip-out ice drawer compartment, this may become a nuisance process. I will find out this week when I do my cleaning. Another thing I have noticed is that the ice in this tip-out style drawer melts together and solidifies into a block (I chip it down with the ice scoop), WAY more easily that the top access style countertop icemakers. When I break it apart with the ice scoop I notice I have to exert a little more aggression, it doesn't get all the chunks broken back down as easy, and I do have ice launching onto the floor. My dogs take care of those pieces, but I am not sure that I would have gone with this model had I realized these things. I absolutely RAGED that I ended up getting another Euhomy because of the 5 month old icemaker I have of theirs that is now sitting on my garage floor waiting for me to find time to take it to the appliance disposal place. That was $190 lost, and this icemaker is even more pricey. Euhomy also never responded to that complaint about my icemaker dying in 5 months, so I have ZERO confidence they will respond if this one follows the same short lifespan. If this icemaker survives a year, I will come back on and update my rating. For now, consider my rating a caution to the consumer. May my luck and yours, be better on this one.

UPDATE!!! After the review I left, I was contacted by an EUHOMY representative apologizing for the issue I encountered. They asked me for my shipping address and a screenshot of my original purchase. About a week later, A brand new unit was delivered to my door. I didn't think there was anyone nowadays that stands behind their product, but I was wrong. Hats off to you in a great big thank you for making this right. We took delivery of this unit in October 2025 and put it service after letting sit upright for the prescribed time in the manual. When we turned it on, we loved it. Much quieter than our old unit it replaced. It produced ice fast and kept up with our supply demands. All is good, right? Now lets fast forward until late January 2026. It squeals randomly very loudly, quits making ice, and the left side as looking from the front gets over warm. It has to be unplugged and restarted multiple times to get it going again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this unit. I cleaned it thoroughly and often, but it still let me down. 3 month lifespan equates to 3 months of very expensive ice.

Makes great long lasting ice. It doesn’t leak and is very slim. It’s super easy to use and affordable. It is pretty loud but eventually it becomes white noise. However this needs constant maintenance and cleaning. If you do not constantly clean it will make the most obnoxious squealing sound and you’ll have to contact customer support for help. So please run a clean cycle daily and do weekly deep cleans. Also empty the drain daily if not multiple times a day.

We had the EUHOMY Nugget ice maker for four months now and am happy with our purchase. This ice maker runs for sixteen hours a day every day without a problem so far. My wife is a crushed ice chewer so she prefers the nugget style ice better than the bullet style we replaced. We read some complaints about being noisy and a small water reservoir but keep in mind that this is a small countertop unit and you'll hear the same complaints about the other countertop units. All in all we are pleased with this unit.
