I did not hook up the ice maker. The empty ice maker was noisy, but you can turn the ice maker off. The compressor has been very quiet at least initially. The shelves are somewhat adjustable. I wish they were more adjustable because that is one of the main reasons I choose this model, but most models are not adjustable at all. ... show more

DON’T BUY IT I regret buying this fridge. I bought it three years ago and I have been having problems after the first year specifically with the fridge cooling system. Save your money and get something better. I tried to extend the warranty and GE told me that they don’t cover my area. I am in VA.

Got this for my sister and her family. She loves it! Came early. Was a pain to get inside. Doors had to be taken off so it could fit through the door way. Took at least two people to move it anywhere. Items stay cold. Looks nice. Works just fine.

Truth GE has gone out of the way to over build and over price one simple part the "water Filter" How about your RV water filter on amazon $25.99 for two (2) and if you want to look around amazon they are even cheaper. LOL oh ya back a few ago GE water filter cost the same, because they were the same filter. Now we have to pay $56.00 for one filter, AND change it every (6) months, and that's not all folks, When you install the filter you must run two (2) gallons of water thru it, yep waste two gallons of water that in your RV you give to your kids "Oh Gee is that dangerous???" Ya a rip off, kinda like the printer deal, they give you the printer cheap but you take a load out on the ink!! Well I have two new filters and not to be used. Amazon for my ice cube freezer and as for the cold running water in the frig, that water water came from my sink, never been sick from it. Beware of GREED, it's poison. ... show more

    • If you like room temperature water, this is the product for you.
Overall the refrigerator does the job. It keeps food cold. Bottom freezer is a good option. However, it's overpriced for what you get. My biggest gripe is the water dispenser. A.) it's in the refrigerator, not the door. That means you have to open the door every time you want some cold water. B.) I expected COLD water....doesn't happen. The water is only cold from the dispenser if it hasn't been used for a couple to few hours or the first glass in the morning. We drink a lot of water in this home. Very disappointed with the warm water. Thinking of returning the unit. ... show more
