Needed a replacement for original fridge on my 2006 Sundancer 280DA,since Norcold no longer made that model, I cold them to get the replacement model number. This fit the hole but would not slide back as far as original. Had to make some minor modifications to secure unit. Like the blue LED inside light, don’t like that the thermostat is inside all the way in the back. Installed it at the end of the season and she cooled well then, can’t speak to the cooling when the cabin is hot. Also took my old wood grain panel and replaced the stock black, simple to do. The handle is different then original and seems flimsy or easy to brake. One last thing it’s real quiet. ... show more

I bought this to replace the fridge that was in our '00 290 Sea Ray Sundancer. I had to modify the mounting slightly, due to the change in design from the original fridge. I installed with with both the AC/DC option. I have been pleased with the cooling, and fit and finish of the fridge. I have had it in for a year now, and the fridge is always running.     • Poor quality
The 1st one I ordered never showed up. After waiting for a few extra days, finally got it canceled and a replacement was delivered. Installed it and it really didn't work right from day 1, it seemed like it was working, then it started freezing things. A can of coke exploded, then I dialed the temp up a little and it went from 38 to 55, turned it back down and the temperature was 42 one day, 77 the next. Adjusted the dial again and it started to cool down aqin and it stopped cooling and went to 77. It's still under the manufacturer 2 year warranty but you can't get a hold of anyone there to set up a service call. I looked at their web site for service and they have many in my area, but none do actual work for norcold. They charge you and you try to get the money back from them. I bought the extended warranty and that doesn't do anything until the manufacturer warranty has expired. More useless stuff. Look for a different brand. I should have returned it when it didn't work right out of the box. ... show more

So I bought this to replace a older Norcold frig. So besides paying way to much for this unit it dose not replace its older version. If I knew it would just slide in I would have bought a different one and just made it work like I am having to do with this one. Now with all that said frig is working good. Norcold Dc-351D died. Norcold says this is an exact replacement. As others have written it fits the cutout but the mounting frame is narrower and leaves a gap at the bottom. Came in a really flimsy box. Was surprised that it survived shipping without damage. Seller should ship it in a sturdy box with additional padding. ... show more
