I've only used this twice, but it's a great pan so far. The size is ideal and the minimal slope of the sides keeps ingredients inside the pan. I use a small amount of oil as the directions indicate. I feel like a real chef when I pick up and shake the pan. The ingredients move smoothly along the bottom. I have a glass-top stove, and the pan performs well on it. I have not looked into this pan fully to make sure it doesn't have some bad aspects, but as of now, the pan is amazing. Very heavy-duty, strong, and easy to clean. I've cooked just about all you would typically cook, nothing stuck. No complaints.

Ok the thing I don’t like is that the steaming tray does fit great. But it works. Otherwise using the pan has been great. It’s deeper than some skillets which works for me…less spatter and it can be used in multiple ways. Perfect for curry’s or stir fry’s. Cleans up nicely. Pretty.

Like the light weight to lift the pan and color of the pan and lid. Have used it as a steamer and the cauliflower turned out great. The light weight nature of the pan is of concern and will see how it holds up to other cooking and time.

I've gotten rid of all of my Teflon pans and switched over to cast iron, however, sometimes I just don't want to deal with the cast iron.. Ya know? I bought this because I heard great things about these pans- they were right. It's much easier to clean than my cast iron and it's lighter than my cast iron, making it my go to "quick" and easy pan. The heat distribution is great, I have a gas stove and it cooks way more evenly than my old Teflon pans did. Surprisingly it also seems more non-stick than my Teflon pans were. I was looking for a replacement for a non stick10 and 12 inch frying pan set I had bought and had finally worn out from Sams Club many years ago. I tried a ceramic coated pan, but it just didn't cut it. When frying things like bacon, the oils would bead up and the bacon wouldn't cook evenly. This skillet doesn't do that and reminds me of my mother's cast iron skillets in the way it cooks. According to the break in directions you are supposed to heat oil in the skillet to season the cooking surface and it is recommended that you use oil while cooking. It does a beautiful job frying bacon and the more I use it the better it cooks. I cook eggs in butter anyway and they turn out perfect every time. I was concerned that the raised pattern would cause problems with flipping eggs but it's a non-issue. I am fast falling in love with these pans. I went ahead and bought the 10-inch pan. Use oil and don't overheat the pans and you will love these. They cook a lot like cast iron without the cast iron hassle and they are easy to clean. ... show more
