While the description mentions three-quarter inch size, that's definitely not the hose size. This might actually only be half or 3/8" diameter hose. I got the 100' version and the price was reasonable for that length. The hose comes in a small box tightly wound. It took a good bit of time to unroll and get it all straight before using it. The material is really flexible so it does kind of "un-kink" itself as you pull it around. The hose is very flexible material with kind of a woven coating around the outside. It does slightly expand under pressure. It has an on/off lever valve you can remove if you want. Be sure to check the box as there's no o-rings on it but they are separate in the box. The hose is compact and even with the 100' length it's lightweight and easy to move around and use. Great little hose. It does have less volume than a standard hose but still plenty enough for what I needed. That's going to vary based on the water pressure you have.

This hose was really not what I expected, but I do like it. The diameter is narrower than a standard garden hose, but it doesn't seem to negatively impact flow. The smaller size and light weight makes the hose easier to store and to manage during use. It's also a different material than I'm used to for a hose...like a sort of woven plastic that I assume is lined with something on the inside. Overall the build seems to be good quality. The brass parts feel a little on the thin side but seem well constructed and I don't expect any problems. I did almost give this hose a bad review because when I first tried it out, water was leaking like crazy from where the hose connected to the spigot, and also as a result the water pressure wasn't great. When I looked at the hose I realized there was no gasket in the hose coupling, which accounted for the leakage. Fortunately, I hadn't thrown away the box and when I was looking to see if I had missed some instructions, I realized that there was a bag with three gaskets in the bottom of the box. Inserting one of these into the coupling solved the leak problem and now I am very happy with the hose. It solves the problems I had with my old hose, because it doesn't kink and is easy to carry. I also like the valve that comes at the end. It's really nice to be able to turn off the water flow without having to run back to the spigot. I should note there was a small leak at the valve when I first turned on the hose, but it turned out it's because the valve screws on and was a little lose. Hand-tightening it completely solved the problem. So to make a long story short, just make sure to insert the gasket into the coupling and that the valve is screwed on tightly before you use the hose. Once that's taken care of, it's a really nice piece of kit.

This hose is narrower than others I have used in the past. The connectors at each end further restrict the water flow. The opening in the first picture is about 1/4 inch. In my second picture you can see the water stream that I got on first use. The stream did eventually appear to widen but that 1/4 restriction does not change. I compared filling a 5 gallon bucket with my prior hose and this one. This hose took about 90 seconds longer. The listing title and description says this hose is 50 feet, but the packaging reads 15M/50Ft. 15M is not equal to 50Ft. 15M is 49.21Ft. I measured the hose to 48Ft10In. It was more than a foot short of 50Ft and not even the full 15M. The hose came tightly coiled in a box approximately 12x12x5 inches. Much smaller than you would expect a 50 foot hose to require. When I am done with a hose I usually coil it up and hang it on a hook until needed again. For me that coil is about 2 feet in diameter. Even after laying in the summer sun, this kink resistant hose was resistant to my coiling method. It only wanted to go back into tight coils like it had originally been compressed into.

This house is much more substantial than expandable hoses. I have had several of those and they are convenient, but they don’t last and I’m tired of having to throw them away! This hose has a nice braided exterior, which helps with preventing it from getting kinked, but it also adds to the strength for water pressure and also makes the exterior smooth. The hardware on the ends is more substantial than I would have expected also, and even has a nice ball valve shut off. It is plenty flexible to drag around the yard and position as you need to. Overall, if you need a replacement light to medium duty household hose, this is not a bad option to consider. I don’t think it would hold up to strenuous industrial or commercial use, but that is not its intended use.

The garden hose weight is pretty heavy. I used to have these type of material before, and they last but at some point they break because of sturdiness and heaviness. The hose was easy to attach to my existing water source. It uses typical attachment size. Functionality is standard. 50ft is good enough for my backyard. It looks ok, really standard and basic hose. It is not flexible since it does not expand and its sturdy and heavy.
