  • TUTORIAL: HOW TO OBTAIN A SL CHAIR AT HALF THE COST!
Color: Fabric Grey Size: Regular
I have owned this Noblerocker for over a year now and here are my honest thoughts on it. I know many of you look at this chair, and ask yourself "Hmm, have I seen this chair somewhere else?" To answer your question, yes...yes you have. The chairs are made by a fancy lab down under whose name I will not say. Personally, I did not want to pay full price for one of those chairs from the lab down under. I cannot fathom paying $500 or more for a chair and decided, hey why not, let's try this clone out. I'm also not a fan of this lab's blatant fake discounts they promote year-round. Seriously, look it up. Anyway, this chair arrived in a beat-up box which is mostly Amazon's fault so I didn't mind at all. I just wanted everything on the inside to be intact. Luckily, everything on the inside was in great condition! It has been a while but I believe it took me a little more than half an hour to build the chair. The instructions were amazing by the way. One of the first things I noticed was how firm the chair was. I know there is a "break-in" period and I can confirm that is true. It took a couple of weeks but eventually, the chair felt more comfortable compared to when I first got it. The knobs for the lumbar support are a nice touch and work well. The base is aluminum so it does feel more premium and you feel safer when the chair is placed in the laying position. The only gripe I have with this chair is that the armrests are made of uncomfortable plastic. I did decide to get some comfortable memory foam armrest pads later which surprisingly fit well. Besides the armrests, this chair is overall very comfortable! A couple of months later, the chair was still going strong. I was browsing through the labs down under website and ran into something called chair skins. I didn't mind the color of my beautiful Noblerocker nor the logo, although, the "Mars" in the back makes no sense and was a strange decision. But I did love the unique skins that this lab was offering and decided to do some measuring of the chair and it turns out this clone is almost exactly the same size as the original. The skins are pricey but I decided to YOLO a Naruto skin because why not? When it arrived, I decided to slap it on, and as you can see in my pictures, it looks fantastic! The chair is a clone so the fit is a little snug but I guess at the end of the day, I managed to create a tutorial for you all to get a nice chair from the lab down under at half the cost! ... show more

  • Amazing for the Price
Color: Fabric Grey Size: Regular
I will start off by saying I'm 6'4" about 220. I ordered the regular size in fabric hoping I would fit. Much to my pleasure, the regular fits perfectly!! The height of the backrest allows me to put my head back and get support. It goes about 3/4ths of the way up my head. The magnetic pillow is great and I am able to position it to where I can actually get support from it; not like some chairs where the pillow rests on my lower neck. The quality of the chair is pretty decent as well as overall comfort. Fabric is comfortable and looks nice. I have spent several 3+ hour gaming sessions in it and the support is great. I will say that the seat is very firm. To me this is good though and has had no negative side effects during longer of sessions. The 3d lumbar support works well and I really appreciate not having a fixed protrusion that jams into my back. It's nice being able to adjust it to fit your lower back while providing support. The 4D arm rests are high quality. On them the padding is firm with a little bit of give. The area where other reviewers have complained about cuts isn't as extreme as I thought. I was expecting a knife edge but it's just a bit rough. Very easy to adjust the arm rests. The only 2 things I don't like are that the chair has a bit of wobble where it meets the cylinder. Nothing serious but if I sit upright and wiggle a bit it isn't completely solid. Second complaint is I wish the padding in the upper backrest, right below the M emblem, were a bit softer. I slide down in my chair quite often and if I sit with my upper back pressed against that area, I feel it. Honestly that is probably a good thing though as it forces me to sit upright hah. This is the best chair at the price point for someone of my height imo. I bought a 500 dollar chair from a competitor but returned it as it wasn't as comfortable. ... show more

  • Surprised
Color: Fabric Grey Size: Regular
Not a bad little chair. The major complaints I read were that the underside of the armrest was sharp, and the wheel base breaks eventually. My armrests were not sharp, and I used a secretlab wheelbase and avoided any future issues. I spent $70 on the secretlab wheel base and the chair was still a good deal. It is pretty similar to my titan evo but the levers under the chair don’t function as smoothly. They work though, they are just harder to actuate. The fabric feels similar, however the arm rests are a little wobbly. Comfort wise this chair is good. This chair has a single knob on the right side to push the lumbar support in or out, and it works like it should. This chair was a gift for my SO and they love it. I did buy a $70 secretlab wheel base to prevent future issues, so if the price is right for you, it is comfortable, not as nice as the titan evo, but close enough given the cost. ... show more
