Splurge buy after having fortune to try their Ninja Foodie never stick possible POT , and using that with great success. I love that pot, and really wanted this pan, so I went for it. I have both in Smoked Paprika. Lovely pot and pan, and easily my favorite. There is just something different, better, than other pans I have tied over the past couple of years. I have a gas stove top, and have a slew of cast iron. While I love my cast iron, there is an ease of use that comes with non stick pans. Lighter too. This can be used on any cooking surface. The ninja pan has heft, but isnt too heavy. Well balanced. Food does not stick, food cooks evenly, and the pan holds heat (which kind of reminds me of cast iron in that way). There are directions to preheat the pan on the stove using low heat (dont start with high), then move the temp up over time. It is a skillet, and so it has plenty of versatility on the stove and even in the oven. Great fitting lid. Comes with a spatula that sits nestled on the lid. Also has a strainer insert. Great for steaming vegetables and cooking pasta-- just like in their picture. However, this would mean homemade or soft pasta, not the dry sticks. Though I suppose small pasta shapes would be fine. I happen to make homemade noodles, and this insert is great for cooking and draining my pasta without needing to drain in between batches. For dry spaghetti, I use their 7 quart pot- same material, same functionality, etc. Just deep. So far, I am very happy with this pan. Probably double in price of my last pan, I dont see this falling apart, flaking, or turning ugly. ... show more

I'm not a "Ninja" fan, got this as a gift, but all the hype about this pan is on point. Everything rises off with hot water, soap has never touched this pan yet. If something burns on (bacon), a quick swish with a nylon brush takes it right off. I can finally properly sear a steak without worrying about hurting the non-stick surface...and because of it's temperature resistance, the whole thing can go in the oven to finish it off. I'm using the steaming feature constantly. The lid seals well and the two spouts mean I don't have to prop up the lid to vent. The only negative is the weight of the pan. The double handles really come in handy when pouring off water. I guess the other negative is if you don't wipe off the grease on the outside, it does burn on and leaves a mark...maybe I'll have to take a pad to it eventually. I liked mine so much that I got sets for my son and 2 nephews ... show more

The pan is non stick so every meal I have cooked had easy clean up and never sticked Can't cook pasta in it as is advertised as it overflows when boiling U can't put enough water in it to cook the pasta without it boiling over. Saying that u can use the stainless steel basket to steam cabbage or other vegetables It's well constructed and will last a long time Don't think it's worth the price ... show more
