  • More than an air fryer - bakes, roasts, grills... From Tofu to Tater Tots. Low Calorie Cooking.
Color: Sage
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this machine. I didn't think I would - but I do. I don't like owning a lot of kitchen devices as I have a small kitchen. Additionally, I think people often buy the newest fad and then the machine doesn't get used. I limit myself to the bare necessities in kitchen appliances. I researched this before purchasing and figure I could return it if it didn't perform well. This design is totally different from other air fryers. I purchased an air fryer for a friend and while the thing worked it was bulky and I couldn't figure out how one could actually clean the thing out. I think the oil and debris must accumulate or the high temps sanitizes the machine. I never wanted to own one until I saw how Ninja turned the traditional air fryer design upside down. Unlike all the other air fryers, this design it so very easy to clean because the cooking element of the sits on top of the glass containers. The bowls can be stored in the freezer or refrigerator. Not sure if they are safe for microwave or not. This is so more than an air fryer as it bakes, roasts, grills, etc. Ninja doesn't advertise the machine as a low calorie way to cook but it should. Any fats from the meat one cooks or oils added to the food ends up at the bottom of the container. Saves lots of calories when using the grill function. The two glass dishes are incredibly easy to clean. One would think with the high temperatures that food would bake on and be difficult to remove. It isn't. This glass is somehow different and cleaning is easy and simple. Mostly just with soapy water and a sponge unless especially dirty then scrubber side of the sponge might be needed. Cooking has been so very easy. Since it take relative little time to cook say chicken thighs (10 min), I can cook them and then cook some vegetables (5 min) without the meats getting cold. Or I've been able to partially cook some baby potatoes and then stack chicken on top and finish cooking both together. I've cooked everything from tater tots to marinated tofu and everything has turned out great. As with everything there is a learning curve in determining how long to cook something. When cooked correctly chicken thighs have turned out crispy on the outside while still moist. I cook marinated tofu to be used as either a high protein snack or to be later added to a stir fry. Believe it or not my dog absolutely loves the tofu I have been making in this Ninja. I mean she LOVES it. I have been using this machine several times a week which is highly unusual for my don't-really-like-to-cook cooking style. The smaller bowl is the right size for one to two people, while the larger bowl is sized for larger portions. With the larger bowl I was able to cook two Cornish Hens. Their picture showing it cooking a whole chicken is wishful thinking IMO. I don't think possible unless that is a very small chicken. I find grilled vegetables come out great, as do baked potatoes and roasted mini potatoes. Grilled eggplant and peppers have been very tasty. I have attempted a sort of stir fry but since vegetables require different cooking times I found that sequencing the vegetables too time consuming. No fault of the machine as I was asking it to do something it was not designed to do. I tried their tater tot recipe and it was pretty good. I keep trying to create new ways to use this machine and know I have not yet explored its limits. Sometimes if I put too much food into the smaller bowl I will get foods slightly stuck onto the heating element. But never had any problem removing that food. I have not tried baking cakes or anything of that sort but plan to try sometime. This is one of the most versatile machine I have come across and the reason I would buy it again. I've started to enjoy cooking again due to this little machine. ... show more

  • BEST AIR FRYER !!!
Color: Cyberspace Gray
I had decided and declared that I would never have an air fryer because of the amount of counter space needed, the largeness of the machine, the NOISE they make when cooking, and the GREASY machine with use. No thanks!! HOWEVER, I had kids/grandkids coming and knew an air fryer would come in handy so I decided to take a look - found this and thought WOW - this new generation is nothing like the old air fryers ... the glass dishes, the AMAZING easy to use, takes up no space, and QUIET ... SO EASY to clean and just put in dishwasher. I NOW USE my air fryer ALL THE TIME I hardly use my stove and never my oven!!! Very good meals are ready in 20-30 minutes! ... show more

  • Great little air fryer, but after one year I'm looking for a replacment.
Color: Cyberspace Gray
Review after one year of use: Pros: Overall very useful, quick and easy to make simple meals, we probably have used the Crispi twice a week over the last year - definitely worth the money. Cons: The tray which holds the food has 4 corner pads to hold it in place -- they are too small to be snug, so the tray often tilts/falls down on one corner while cooking. Also I find it really difficult to keep clean as the heat source is so close to the food. For this reason I will probably replace it soon. ... show more

  • Man...where do I start on this one?
Color: Cyberspace Gray
First, we already have a Ninja air fryer and have used it extensively. It has served us well. No complaints, no issues. Then, we saw the Crispi...and then we heard others talk about it. So, we grabbed one. What a difference. 1. the cooking area is larger 2. The cooking options are very well defined 3. All the electronics are in the top part, so to clean the bowl you just take the bowl and wash it. Done. Ready to cook again. 4. If you have leftovers and don't want to transfer to small containers, slap the lid on and put the whole thing in the refrigerator. 5. Easy to clean the power top using a simple washcloth. 6. It's simple to operate...no setting temperature settings. 7. There is a difference between crisp and max crisp. If you want a little extra cooking on something, go for max crisp. I love the setting. I still use our original air fryer, but only when somebody else beats me to the Crispi. ... show more

  • Great time saver.
Color: Sage
Where has this been all my life!!!! I resisted the whole Air Fryer trend during the Pandemic because I did not see a need and the last thing I needed was some huge thing taking up room that I cant cook a full meal in. The Ninja Crispi will not go the way of the Crockpot, novelty wore off and I can make food faster and better in the Tagine. My husband and I have different diets, Im keto/carnivore and my husband is an omnivore, the Crispi has solved the issue of my food getting cold while I wait for his sides to cook, made cleaning the kitchen after dinner a breeze, and if he doesnt eat it all, the glass containers can be put in the fridge, they come with lids. It does come with a temp guide and recipe book, but depending on what you are cooking its not always accurate. Frozen chips come out great if you pre heat on recrisp, bake for 10min, and Max Crisp for 10, with a liner and removing the crispi tray, frozen veg comes out crisp and not soggy, add olive oil and spices and its almost as good as stir fry without a pan to clean-5min on airfry, 5-8 on max crisp. You have several temp options to choose from. The only thing it falls down on is large pieces of meat, dont use this for a T-bone, its ok but not as tender as I like it and it takes just as long as the roaster in my oven. Chicken is ok, but you can only do 3-4 thighs at a time, easier to oven bake 15 at a time. Fish again ok, to me the salmon I tried to cook was a little too dry for my taste and again I could only cook 2 small pieces. Burgers do well, I can cook one large one for my meal and not need to babysit it, freeing me up to cook my husbands dinner. Sausages and bacon also does well on bake and then airfry, you do need to lift the lid and check to prevent over cooking. I highley recommend buying a splatter screen for the heating element, because unless you want to get a screw driver and take the top apart its impossible to clean. Over all I recommend the Ninja Crispi as a time saver for everyday side dishes, if you have different diet needs, you are a vegitarian/vegan, and if you are only cooking for one. Pros: Glass bowls no basket, easy to clean and store. The top fits on top of the glass bowls so it wont take up all of the counter real estate, works well for reheating leftovers, multiple temps to choose from, works well for having sides come out with the meat, works great for single keto cooking, reduces the amount of pots and pans in the dishwasher, you can hand wash the bowls or buy paper liners and toss them in the trash. Cons: No good for cooking large quantities, or large portions/sizes of meat, fish, chicken, pork. Top is difficult to clean splatters and you need to purchase a splatter guard if baked in grease bothers you. You will need to keep an eye on frozen potatoes, veg, cheese sticks and fish, and you will need to finese the the temps to prevent over cooking. ... show more

  • Great air fryer
Color: Stone
Love this nontoxic air fryer. We got it to replace our old one which had PFAS and other toxic chemicals. This one has way more modes too and works amazing. Very easy to clean and there’s 2 different sizes for how much food you need to air fry. Would definitely recommend.

  • Very efficient and cooks great! Very efficient and cooks great!
Color: Cherry Crush
I really enjoyed my Ninja glass air fryer. The fitting of the power lid is perfect for the glass bowls and also the controls is a lot easier to to control the settings at your liking. It is almost dishwasher safe and friendly and it fits perfectly on counter top or you can place it in your cabinet. The durability is fantastic. Ther is no odor however I can smell the food as it cooks. This product also heats up your food or you can bake it or air fry your meals even your deserts. The Ninja air fryer also has a great performance with heating and this product never failed me. It works very well for pastas and dips as well even with seafood such as salmon my favorite protein I cook. This is the great item so far I have used as part of my cooking. Very fast and efficient with less effort. ... show more
