I've had my Niceday rowing machine for about 2 weeks now. It it everything I was hoping for in a rowing machine for my home gym. The box (76 pounds) came to my doorstep in perfect condition (Thank you Amazon delivery drivers!!). I was amazed how all items in the box were packed VERY WELL!!!. It took me about 30 minutes just to get everything out of the box, it was packed that well. It was VERY easy to assemble. Took my about 30 minutes, only because I took my time to make sure I did it right. Once I assembled it, I got right on it to try it out. The rowing part is very smooth and very quiet. The seat is very comfortable and smooth along the railing. My first time on it, I rowed for 20 minutes at level 7 (out of 16). The resistance was plenty. My upper back was VERY sore the next day!! I did try level 13 and it felt like I was rowing thru mud!!! There is plenty of resistance on this machine. The monitor works great. The calorie counter seems to be a little generous and not sure about the distance accuracy, but I don't care. It works and gives me something to go by to progress my workout. I bought this when it was on sale for $382. Now I think it's around $400. It is definitely worth the price and I would highly recommend it.

I couldn’t be happier with this rowing machine! The build quality is top-notch, and the rowing motion is incredibly smooth and natural. The resistance levels provide a great challenge for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced rowers. It’s also super quiet, which is perfect for early morning workouts without disturbing the rest of the house. The assembly was straightforward, and the machine feels very sturdy—even during intense workouts. The seat is comfortable, the handle has a great grip, and the display provides all the key stats to track progress. I’ve used high-end rowing machines at the gym, and this one holds its own. I'm very pleased I made this purchase. I've been looking for a rowing machine, and I'm very satisfied with this one. It was easy to put together. I managed no problem by myself. And I like the wheels to move it around easily. I'm 6'3. It was one reason I selected this rower. No issues with height. I read some reviews that it did not have enough resistance. Personally, I do no find this to be an issue. I'm mid-40's, about 205 lbs. Do not workout otherwise. But I started on a setting 10 (out of 16), and found this perfect. For about a month now I've used it at that setting and cranked it to 11. I suspect I'll keep that up for a while. But for my needs, it suits me just fine. I'm not looking to bench-press the rower. Just want a bit of exercise. One thing... It might be my rowing style. This is the first rower I've used. But occasionally I knock the hand bar on my knees. Kind of wondering if the bar was positioned a little higher it would help. Or maybe I need to practice more when my arms and legs are moving. I have not problem with the seat. No problem with the foot pads. It does link to an app. About the app... Its called Kinomap. Its really cool IF you subscribe to a membership. I did the free trial. It has a bunch of videos and you can sync up the rower to the video and it makes it feel like you are rowing along a beach somewhere. It records other rowers too. So if you are a competitive person, you can try to beat their times. But I've done a few 25-30 minute videos with some people posting times in the 2-3 minutes. So obviously something is messed up with some users. Another thing to note is that it might be better on a tablet or cast on a bigger screen. I used my phone and some of the stats were hard to read as I was rowing. Things like distance, speed, power, etc. are pretty small font. Overall though I just liked it for the video. Now that my free trial is over I still use it in "Free ride" mode. No videos. But its a nicer digital display of stats on your phone/device rather than the built-in (old calculator look) of the rower display itself.

It is a good quality affordable rowing machine. It was easy to assemble. It stands upright when stored. It is a great “gateway” rowing machine for beginners that operates smoothly and delivers an impactful rowing experience .

I, like many of you, was concerned that the resistance would be too low for me when I was researching rowers. I have been working out almost everyday for years from my garage gym and wanted to get a rower for both workouts and to warm up my muscles before weight lifting. There are so many reviews stating that the resistance of the Niceday rower is just too low. I looked at the resistance weight and compared it to many other rowers. It is greater or at least the same as most of them. After using this rower for over a month, I think I’ve found out why people state it’s too low. I feel like they don’t actually understand the mechanics and functionality of the rower. It is not a weight rack. It’s not meant for spending 2-3 minutes on it and your muscles are fatigued from the resistance. Rowing is an endurance workout. Think about actually rowing a boat through water, which is what this is supposed to simulate. You don’t do a couple of paddles and you’re fatigued. If so, you’d probably get stranded and bake under the sun. This rower has all the resistance that the average or moderately above average person needs. I spend 10 minutes every morning warming up on this rower and do so effectively at level 8 (out of 16). When I want a good workout on it, I aim for more time (like 20-30 minutes) on a higher level such as 12-13. It works great if you actually understand how to use it. My husband, who is quite a bit stronger than me also never fails to get a good endurance workout on it too but tends to have it a little higher at 14-16. I’ll also mention that it was a breeze to set up by myself and I love that it’s so quiet since I wake up well before the rest of my family does to workout.
