I finally caved and got a label printer as the stuff I've been buying for my oldest son's first apartment started accumulating. After a surprise early launch last year when my oldest daughter graduated from college seven months earlier than planned and we had to coordinate a move and furnishing an apartment from a couple states away in the space of weeks instead of months, I'm starting earlier and labeling everything as we get ready for this launch. This little printer has definitely been getting a workout! It was easy to get started, I just downloaded the app and pressed the button to turn on the printer. They connected, the app identified the model and default label size, and it was off to the races. There were plenty of fonts and icons to choose from for what I need labels to mark, but I'd check out the app to make sure it aligns with your needs before buying if you're using this for a workplace. I did have a couple letters glitch in certain fonts, but they're still legible so it's not a big deal for me. Again, if you plan to use this in a professional capacity, check out the app before you buy and make sure it meets your requirements. Overall, this has been a helpful little device for me and my family. I recommend it for home use or gifting, as it looks nice, works well, and comes in giftable packaging at an average price. Notes: Only sizes are offered as information for buying refill label rolls. I haven't had any problems with the app on my iPhone 12 Pro, but enough other reviewers mentioned having issues to warrant test-driving it on your phone before you buy.

The device itself is a small thermal (no ink replacement necessary) label maker that takes a variety of label sizes and is app dependent. The print quality is as expected for text/images and for being a monochrome (black & white) printer. It comes with a roll or 40mmx12mm paper and just works as expected. The case is a bit deceiving with a glossy black side that looks to be a screen, but is nothing really. Outside of this rating is the app that the device needs to run. I suspect there are other options, but the default app just seems average (the literally best description I have). A bit cumbersome to setup, but once setup, it does what it needs to do. The rating of the app depends on the app store you're getting it from but seems accurate.

I enjoy this label maker. It's compact, easy to use, quick, and I think that the labels turn out well. I really only use it for basic, text labels - so no pics, etc. You must install and use the app to print labels, so there's that. The app is relatively easy to use and has alot of options. If you need a quick little label maker for your basic label needs, this is a great option!

Very nice, well made, neat, compact and portable unit. Charged in about an hour, then works remotely for hours of label making. Comes in a convenient box, minimal packaging, but we'll protected. Included manual shows basic operations, but is unclear in parts, and has no ordering information for replacement tape. Operation requires downloading and installing a proprietary app on your smartphone and then requires making the Bluetooth link through that app. Unit will not link directly to phone without that app. App is quirky, with murky instructions. Making a simple label is easy once I figured it out. Lots of bells and whistles on the app were beyond me. I found the app intrusive on my phone, and deleted it after making my labels because it was interfering with other software, especially my social media and email programs. This unit would be much better if it allowed a direct link via Bluetooth without that app,which isshabby compared to the product itself.

I wanted a printer that was easy to take around the house with me and label. This one is compact but the instructions are difficult for me to understand. You have to download a app to your phone to use, but it needs more detailed instruction. The experimental stickers I did did not come out well. One was too small, one two big and another chopped of part of my words. It also would spit out two label’s instead of just one. The labels are pre-sized so you have to work in their perimeters. I will need to explore more. It does show that it has a video tutorial. It had great little templates to choose from but they didn’t print so I am guessing you need to buy that tape? But I can’t find where to purchase more tape when this roll runs it. It only prints in black and white, which is fine if the templates worked. I will have to do more experimenting with it. All in all, I think it can be fun to use, it just needs better instructions.

It seems the size of the labels is more dependent on the roll of stickers you buy than the size of the printer, and the height/font size are pretty similar to that found on brother’s label printers. The lack of keyboard probably accounts for the cheap price, but I much prefer using my phone. Connection was almost instant, and the app was very easy to navigate and use. The app itself has bad reviews, but they seem to apply more to “power users” who want custom fonts or a ton of images and icons. I’m using it for labeling boxes and small jars with samples I collect for microscopy, and the tiny size is great as I can leave it in my field bag and label things on the spot with collection site/condition/date & time data without the need to remember. I can easily fit 3 lines on a single label with a small font, 2 with something more easily read from a distance.
