I’m old and know nothing about batteries or chargers except one supports the other. I hooked this little charger to my battery, plugged it in and in a short time had a full charge. Would definitely recommend as an inexpensive charger.

This was an impressively sophisticated little device. For just a bit more money than a standard battery maintainer, the addition of a display to assess battery resting voltage, and the desulfurization cycle option (which successfully increased the resting voltage of my 3-year old AGM battery from 12.2 to 12.7), made this a smart investment for me, if it adds even another 6-months to the life of my battery. That 0.5 volt improvement, by the way, was AFTER my battery had already been “fully charged” by my Hesgstat battery maintainer (a nice little unit but lacking the desulfurization feature).
