After my first-time use of the ab stimulator, I'm not skeptical, I really like it! It's very comfortable and easy to put on and use. The belt is quality elastic and velcro closure material, it's very comfortable and fits my 38" waist easily. It feels like it will last a long time. I have to admit I wasn't really sure what to expect at first with the sensations. Wet the inner silicone pads (I used distilled water) with the provided spray bottle, and strap the belt around your lower belly. You will get the best results if you trim/shave your abdomen for the best skin contact with the pads. The controller attaches magnetically to the belt. It works the same facing either up or down. The + button switches it On. It always starts on 0 power level, so you won't get zapped. You slowly increase the pulsing strength by pressing +. It gently climbs higher with 19 power levels. I got it up to 5-6 on my first try which felt so good after I got adjusted to it. The varied 8-mode patterns are well-designed, and you can switch them by pressing the M button. The power drops and gradually returns to your preset level again. I really like the muscle contractions which can be strong but pleasant. It doesn't zap or "bite" even at high levels, but your muscles will have stronger, harder contractions. If you have ever used a TENS unit this has the same kind of pleasant sensation. You adjust the strength to suit your comfort level. If you need to quickly shut it off press and hold the - button. The controller has a 20-minute shut-off timer. I started with a 5-minute first-time session, you want to increase gradually to avoid sore muscles. You should get about 15 sessions on a charge. A USB-C cable is included, connect to any USB power source. The LED will light to show charging which takes 2-3 hours. The LED turns off when done.

I've had this for nearly two months. Bought it mostly because of good reviews. It has a smaller area of effectiveness than some brands and that was a concern - at first. Target an area. I definitely use this on my lower abs twice as much as my upper. I could place it three different times for full abdominal coverage but find that going lower, middle, then lower again works well. I guess I need the most support in the lower, holding area of trunk. Clean use, safety bonus. I'm also a fan of not needing to replace gel pads. Since they send a little spray bottle, it's always nearby and ready for use, no mess. Safety - Another reviewer wrote that you could pull off the battery housing if something went wrong. That's true. It stays in place with magnets. I once overshot my targeted intensity by far and pulled that off right away. Stopped a potential freak show. Velcro longevity (for some) Some have been concerned that the velcro would not last. Seeing that, I adjusted my belt on day one and when I was finished, I slid it down and stepped out of the still velcro'd belt. I haven't undone it since. Now I can adjust when I need to and keep that pattern. If your hips are wider than your waist this may not work. I have not needed to replace the battery yet either. Summery I agree that expecting washboard abs using this technology isn't fair. If that could happen, we could buy a suit that would do all the work (there's your first million, BTW) but it's made a difference in my abs. They feel tighter, stronger, and like I could take a punch if I had to. Helps with my posture, and does encourage more attention to abs in my morning routine. Oh, bonus; it has the benefit of promoting regularity - ha! (didn't think I needed that), I also like to use it while I'm on the treadmill. This belt stimulator has brought it for me and I got nice surprises too. It's a win.

When I first got it I charged it for about two hours. I put it on I was so mad it felt like I was being electrocuted. I was about to return it asap but then I’m like let me figure this thing out cause maybe I’m using it wrong lol. I started playing with all the modes some felt electrocuting some felt like nothing and when I got to the mode where it feels like it’s working my muscles I was ok like here we go. If you’ve given birth, then you’d understand the feeling of your muscles contracting cause that’s what it feels like and it feels good. Day two of using and I must say I was impressed I hate to take it off. I tried to get everybody in the house to try it for thirty minutes so they can feel what I felt 3 out of five not so bad lol. I think it works best while sitting doing nothing because when I tried to workout with it and clean my house with it on it kept bulging up and turning off, I was barely feeling it. But when I sit to read or simply just lay down and do nothing, it’s working it’s magic but turns off after 30-45 or so minutes then I have to restart it. Which is still cool with me because it gives me a chance to just relax my muscles. After a week of use, I found out it works best with hot cream or massage oil which takes away the electrocuting feeling when it touches my bare skin. Overall I love it! It gives me a great ab workout with little to no effort

Only been using it a day, so can't comment on how long it lasts. But I've been doing ab work outs every other day the last 6 months. Was looking for something to relax, add tone afterwards. Not sure if it's cause I have electrode gel I use instead of water, but first time using, the first intensity was surprising enough. Haven't even gone up to level 2 yet, much less 19. I would need some depends Edit- Definitely works!! Make sure the belt is tight around your waist, and cover the area completely with water/gel or it will start to shock/burn you. If it shocks you, it's because it's not connecting with your skin properly. Im only 125, so I can't speak on behalf of weight loss. As for toning, and strength, it does wonders. Only up to level 4, and I can tell a difference after a few days.
