I really like this little air fryer. Easy to use, easy to clean. But the basket is rusting around the top. I understood it was dishwasher safe so I am surprised by the rust problem.

For me this was perfect. Simple and neat. I didn’t need all of the options that some other gadgets come with so for me this really does work well. After the first initial five minutes you let it burn there’s a weird smell but that’s normal. After that first time you don’t smell it again. Just run it before you cook anything. Bought this as a gift to my husband who was constantly turning on the oven to reheat food because he hates using the microwave. It's fairly simple to use and even comes with a little "cookbook" with some minor recipes in it for beginners. Plus there's the bonus of not needing to wait for it to preheat before you cook. My only downside to it is super minor and it's that you have to use a bit of force (seemingly like you'll break it) in order to close the basket. It won't allow you to use the touch screen (or even light up) if the basket isn't in place right. Other than that, it's a great price and the unit is so convenient. We love it. Update: Nearly 2 1/2 years later, this little unit is still trucking along perfectly! We still use it every other day. I've made full dinners in it along side the traditional items you'd throw in it like fries and chicken nuggets. I've made dinner items such as porkchops, chicken wings, ect and they came out so good that we use this air fryer as the sole way to make those specific dishes. I cannot stop using it. I've made fries, sweet potato slices, egg rolls, tofu strips, and more in it. It comes with a cookbook but I don't use it. If you don't like beeping noises or pushing a button then don't get this one because that is how you set it. You push in the basket, then a light comes on, press it and more lights come on. To set temperature you push the temp button then hit plus or minus until you see desired temperature. Then hit the time button and plus or minus until you get the desired time, then hit center button and it will start. Every button hit is a beep. When the food has finished the cycle it will beep about 5 times. (And can be heard across the house!) So far it has worked well and I'd perfect for 1-4 people. ... show more

It is easy to use. The size is perfect for small meals, like side french fries. The coating of the rack fades away quickly. We decided to cover it with aluminum foil. Almost exactly one year after the first use, the fan started making a loud noise. We stopped using it then.
