We are very pleased with these new bar stools which are a gift from our children for our newly remodeled lower level living space. The chairs look very nice at our bar, are comfortable and very sturdy. They look exactly like the photo pictured in the product listing. The grey color goes nicely with our other furnishings. Assembly took about one hour for the first one and the diagrams were very helpful, even without detailed written instruction. Having read other reviews, my husband said he knew why they had trouble lining up the holes with the screws. You cannot tighten down the first one or two screws holding the seat to the back until all 4 are in place loosely. Then wiggle them a bit until they all line up nicely before you tighten all of them down. No problem at all with this method. Packaging was excellent with no marks on any of the pieces. We appreciate the care taken to package so carefully and pad everything thoroughly. These are reasonable priced for such good looking, sturdy bar stools. ... show more

I wasn't too sure about these chairs at first when I got them. I was just looking for a good quality counter height barstool with 360 swivel but couldn't find anything that looked worth it in stores. There were pretty mixed reviews about these but I went ahead and took the risk anyways to see if maybe it was the type that they had ordered. None of the pictures had this model. I was very pleasantly surprised!! They were super easy to put together. They don't rock with misalignment issues at all. At first the color of the wood looked to have a green undertone but that went away as they spent time in the light. It is a perfect match for my neutral toned home! Very well made! These stools are sturdy and well made. Very stylish! Love the light grey color. The wood is painted, rather than a natural grey, which husband would prefer natural-minus the star. They are comfortable and we like the swivel seat. Not sure how the fabric will clean and hold up at this time. Everyone compliments upon seeing them for the first time. Wasn’t sure how many to order, almost went with four like our previous stools, but four of these would have been too “squished” for our counter. Good counter height. Wood is very soft, so it’s dented and chipped from hitting the counter. Fabric needs to be scotchguarded or it will stain. Does not hold up well to larger weight.

Good looking chairs that hold my 230 lbs son without buckling or breaking. The 360 degree swivel instead of auto return is nice. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I ordered 4 chairs. One had a noticeable chunk of wood missing (broken) off pre-packaging. It’s replacement had a broken piece as well but I kept is as it was under the seat so not visible....and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of another return. ... show more
