  • Fantastic outdoor projector! Highly recommend it!
I’ve owned three other projectors for viewing movies outside, the Nebula Mars 3 air is the best yet!! For such a small unit, the sound quality is exceptional, the interface is snappy and responsive, and lastly the picture is vibrant and very clear. It could honestly stand to be a bit brighter (even in standard mode), but the image quality is excellent. I have a theater room, am an audio professional, have owned a historic single screen movie theater, and am extremely picky when it comes to watching movies (even outside)….. they look and sound great on this one, definitely recommend it! ... show more

  • Super lightweight and portable, bright image!
I am a huge fan of Nebula projectors, they are super lightweight, user friendly to operate as other brands I have worked with take forever to get the image just right. These auto-focus and auto-keystone to the screen in seconds providing a crisp, clear image every time. This model is super compact and I love that it can operate on it's internal battery. This is going to change our family movie nights forever. I stand by their quality and definitely recommend! ... show more

  • 10/10 Recommend 🤫
I really hope the people that make this product don’t read these reviews for fear that they will increase the price. I was astounded with the image and sound quality, and the Google TV software makes it so easy to set up. Incredible value for an excellent product. SHHHHHH

  • Strong features and setup, but underpowered brightness at this price point
I’ve been a long-time fan of Anker products, and their projectors generally live up to the brand’s reputation for quality and thoughtful design. I’ve been searching for the right projector for a conference-room setup, and the NEBULA Mars 3 Air GTV does several things very well. The autofocus is fast and accurate, and the keystone correction is excellent, making setup quick and hassle-free. That said, brightness was ultimately the limiting factor for our use case. In a typical conference-room environment, the image simply isn’t bright enough, especially when compared to similarly priced...or even less expensive; projectors that offer higher lumen output. This is a well-designed projector and may be a great fit for darker rooms or portable use, but for business or conference-room applications, increased brightness would make a significant difference. ... show more

  • It's so easy you really can't go wrong with this one
This is a phenomenal projector for a fair price. The ability to run this on batteries is just icing on the cake. Integrated WiFi capability is really a show stopper. All around fantastic purchase.

  • Stellar performance in a tiny package
I’m really happy with this. The picture quality is great. We got a 150-foot screen to test its limits and it fills it up beautifully, from corner to corner of crisp, clear picture (when my WiFi is at its best, anyway.) I’m an Apple TV user, so I had to get used to the new interface and remote control, but they’re intuitive and easy to navigate. People complain about the battery life, but we haven’t had an issue there. We just set up the projector near an outlet (or use a big ol extension cord). I also love the compact size — it resembles a cute little lunch box, so it packs away so easily when we’re through. ... show more

  • So good, I bought my own.
I used this at a seminar where I was presenting. The sound and picture were fantastic. It's very easy to set up and use. I was glad that I got to try it before I bought it. That way I saw how fantastic it is. Well worth the $. I've traveled with it, it's small enough to be easily portable, but delivers big picture results. The sound is good enough from this little thing I don't need additional boosting. ... show more

  • Consider other portable projectors, this one has major flaws.
Projector review I had the old Nebula Mars 2 projector and loved it! I used it probably 100 times over 5 years for watching movies outside. The brightness, battery life, sound, and build quality were top notch. It also had a very easy to use app system. Over the years the battery capacity decreased a bit (understandable, like any modern device) and it eventually got banged up enough that I was motivated to replace it with the new Nebula Mars 3 Air GTV. On paper, the Mars 3 is 25% brighter, 1080p vs 720p of the 2, and runs Google TV instead of Android, along with a myriad of other improvements. Upon receiving the Mars 3 I was impressed with its size and weight, it seems slightly more compact and a little lighter weight. I can confirm the picture is bright, not bright enough that I would want to use it indoors in a room with a lot of windows, but fine for a darkened room or evening outside. The setup features (auto-focus, keystone correction, etc., also seemed to work quickly and as designed). Unfortunately, this is about all the positive feedback I have on the Mars 3. My main issues are: - Build quality: The handle feels flimsy compared to the Mars 2 and is a bit loose. This is not the build quality I’m used to. - Sound: Allegedly the 3 has Dolby Digital sound but I found that the sound quality (particularly the bass and maximum volume level) isn’t as good as the 2. I’m only using the Mars 2 as a point of reference, I’m not comparing it to anything else. - Apps: This is my biggest gripe. The Google TV interface is horrendous. It’s slow, counterintuitive, and crashes constantly. It crashed just navigating between apps, doing searches, trying to type in credentials, and also while streaming video. In case you were wondering, it was within 5’ of my WiFi router and I have almost gigabit symmetrical speeds, so this was not a connectivity issue. Overall: I feel like the build quality has taken a step back and the app interface needs to be reconsidered. I’m not sure how much of this is Google’s fault and how much is Nebula’s, but interfaces like FireTV, Roku, and AppleTV are all faster and far more stable. I’m debating returning this, especially because the sound is so lousy, it really doesn’t have enough redeeming factors for me to want to keep it. ... show more
