My 2005 Tahoe with the 5.3 LS engine died at just over 279,000 miles and I am starting to rebuild it. I have been collecting bearings, gaskets,etc. ahead of time. When I found this kit on Amazon I started to drool! It has so many extras! Not only does it have a new camshaft with lifters, springs and pushrods, but it also comes with a timing chain/gear set and even a new oil pump! Very few kits include all that for this price. And since you will need to remove the harmonic balancer to get to the timing chain and oil pump, they even include a new crankshaft bolt. They thought things through with this kit. I really am pleased with this set and can't wait to get started on the rebuild.
