No. It uses a clamp-on design and can be installed in about 30 minutes with basic hand tools. Will it stay secured at highway speed? Yes. Built-in crossbars add structural tension and keep the tarp tight and stable while driving. Is the T1 waterproof? It’s weather-resistant with edge seals that block rain, snow and dust. Can I lock my truck bed with this cover installed? The cover seals under the tailgate, so locking the tailgate secures the bed. Will it fit with a bed liner? It fits under-rail and spray-in liners. This soft bed cover fits my 2024 f250 perfectly. Very good quality and so somoke to install I didn't need to touch the instructions. Very good quality and a tight fit. When closing pop the velcro loose on the sides so it'll stretch along the whole top. When latched tug the sides over and rub to lock the velcro. Hardly any movement at highway speeds. I'm going to order a second one so when this one wears out, in a few years, I'll have another one exactlyblike it. This tonneau cover is amazing especially for the price! It came well packaged and undamaged. All neccessary installation hardware and instructions were included. This was very easy to install and took me only 10 min after removing everything from the box. It seals great all around the bed of my truck, the only exception is two spots at either side of my tail gate where there are small gaps but unless water is sprayed directly at those areas no water gets in. It fits perfectly and I think it looks great and adds a sleek look. The rails that mount to the truck are great quality as well as the cross members that help to hold the cover up slightly throughout the middle of the bed. I would definitely recommend this product! UPDATE to the UPDATE: (8/1/23) It’s been 2 years since I bought this and I feel I need to update my review Witt a more comprehensive one. I must say I’m pretty dam impressed with how this thing has held up to the abuse I’ve put it through in 2 years. My vehicle is a Ford F350 superduty and it’s a construction truck. So this cover has seen wood placed on top of it, items poking at it from underneath, lots of rain & snow. I’ll give you the PROS and CONS. PROS: Very durable!!! Super easy to install. Easy to open and roll back The flapping I was experiencing seemed to go away after a few months Great looking It’s “fairly” waterproof. I take it through the car wash every other month and it’s good enough for what I need. CONS: Customer service is BAD! But that’s a company review not a knock against the product. You WILL NOT save MPG with this cover. But I didn’t buy it for that so for me it’s not a Con. It is a bit of a pain to roll up, needing to walk from one side to the other to make sure it’s tight. That’s my biggest gripe with this thing. But it’s not a huge deal. And it’s surprising durability cancels out this con for me. For the money, I can deal with it. SUMMARY: Great cover for the money as long as you don’t need customer support. It’s not perfect. But it’s very good. ********************* UPDATE: many last review was a 2 star review saying “jury was still out in this”. Well the verdict has been reached and it’s not good news. I contacted the mfg to tell them about the rattling and I vibration. They wrote back and said “a certain amount of flapping and vibration is considered normal”. I told them if thats considered normal by your standards, then I consider a design flaw by my standards and would like a refund. They wrote back again and said: “it’s a vinyl cover. Like all other vinyl covers it’s going to vibrate a certain amount. You don’t like - contact Amazon for a refund. Have a good day” I won’t go through the hassle of pulling it off the truck to get a refund and wait for a new one in this rainy season. But I will advise you to not get this product unless you’re ok with it flapping and rattling around like thunder. *************************** I like the concept and sturdiness of this cover. Not too hard to install. Took maybe 1/2 hr. But I am getting a fair amount of flapping while driving. And opening/closing the cover is not a piece of cake. Takes a few minutes of working the Velcro so it causes me to avoid opening it when possible. It was a good solution at the time. But next go around I’ll probably get a tri fold hard top ... show more

Easy to install and good quality. Takes about 10 minutes to install/remove. Shakes slightly when driving but I think most do. You have to adjust the rear latch, and even with maximum rear adjustment, the cover fits quite tightly. I would not try to install it in cold or even cool weather unless you put in the sun and/or heat up the truck bed after it's installed to relax the fabric to allow it to stretch before trying to close it all the way. I installed in at about 80 degrees, and it was still a tight to close. ... show more

Sometimes its really hard to decide on a product online to purchase. After much looking at all that were offered on Amazon Prime, I went with this product and I am very glad I did. I can't speak to longevity, but it seems others have addressed that, however I can attest to how well it fits, how easy it is to install, and how well it looks. I didn't have to make any adjustments to it, seems they know exactly where to adjust the movable parts already for the rails on either side and the one behind the cab for the proper width of my exact truck bed. It latches as it should with no issues and it looks like water will not puddle anywhere but drain right off. I am very happy and can most certainly recommend it! ... show more
