  • Updated review: Anker/Nebula really stepped up - Poor quality, broke in 8 months
Color: black
Update: Nebula reached out to me, unsolicited, and sent a new unit. It works flawlessly and is the best clarity, detail and sound I could imagine from one of these types of things. It really makes you wonder why you want a regular television as opposed to just a laser projector. My daughter is using it in her room in college and has crowds of kids come in for movie nights. Nothing like 100" display and good sound in your little dorm room whenever you want it and no worries on how to store it. I think the experience has sold another half dozen of these just recently because the other kids were so enamored with it. Nice for a freshman to have something cool to share and make friends. Updating to 4 stars from 1 star because of excellent customer service at Nebula. The working product is a 5 star item in my opinion, and so is the customer service. I deducted a star simply because the first one broke so fast and it really made me feel stuck with junk. It isn't junk though. Using it proves that. Old Review below: Got it for my daughter Dec 2022. She used it a bit in her room. Now she is a freshman in college, dusted it off and it doesn’t charge and won’t turn on. Disappointing for $800. ... show more

  • Little but mighty!
Color: Transformers
My husband and I LOVE this projector! It's tiny, so it's completely and convenient to move around wherever we want to use it, and most importantly, the quality is excellent! We've had our fair share of low quality projectors, and finally decided to splurge on a good one and I am SO THANKFUL we did. We were contemplating getting a TV in our room, but with this projector there is no need. We have high quality, extra large viewing that we can make portable. Better than a TV! ... show more

  • A very cool portable laser projector!
Color: Transformers
After ready so many positive reviews about this portable projector, I decided to pull the trigger and I don't regret it. I can't believe the size of this thing. It's mind boggling! I wasn't expecting much about this projector even after all the reviews but after turning it on, I was impressed. This thing is easy to set up and I like all the features and the built in apps. The auto focus and auto keystone is cool and works flawlessly. I updated the firmware before I continued with setting it up. I'm surprised at the sharpness and the brightness of the picture in my pitch dark bedroom. However if I move the projector back farther the picture gets darker. I guess this was designed for 120" and less screen size. I wish this has an optical zoom instead of a digital one. I'm excited at what projector Anker is going to release in the future but for now I will enjoy this one! This is definitely a keeper for me! Laser is the way to go!! ... show more

  • Great picture, great sound quality, perfect for travel!
Color: black
I bought this as a combination bluetooth speaker and projector for business travel because sometimes my hotel room doesn't have a tv that supports chromecast. This is been a true joy to use! The picture is REALLY crisp if you're using it as a smaller screen and a very respectable 1080p+ when at full size. I prefer to use this plugged into my laptop, but I do occasionally use the apps installed on it for streaming media. The android infrastructure works great overall, but sometimes a little bit of lag and seems to have certain streaming services missing from what's available. The battery lasts 2+ hours when not plugged in which is perfect for a shorter movie, but I typically keep it plugged it when I'm using it as a projector. It seems like no one talks about the bluetooth speaker functionality of this projector, but it works amazingly for this purpose and can get VERY loud if you desire. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this projector and I'm glad that this is the one I have. ... show more

  • Great projector
Color: black
Bought this as an upgrade for my 720p projector. Definitely an upgrade. The setup up was automatic. Put it where I wanted and it auto aligned and scaled to screen. So much in a small footprint package.

  • Great but no Netflix.
Color: black
(updated) Pluses and minuses on no particular order… Not a terribly difficult but definitely not a seamless setup experience. It took a long time (software and firmware updates galore) and was riddled with more than its fair share of “who … the … tested this stuff?”. …or more correctly, who DIDN’T test this stuff. But, in the end, it just took some deduction mixed with patience and skipping setup steps to arrive at a device that was fully configured even though the setup process indicated otherwise. It’s a google AndroidTV device. The speaker is adequate. You can connect/drive external Bluetooth speakers (I have mine driving a pair of Bose BT “portable/soda can” speakers). So, no big there. The laser performance in and of itself is really solid. It automatically focuses and keystone adjusts. Really good stuff there! Not enough output to work well a lit environment. But in a dark environment the picture is genuinely good. Resolution is 1080P. I only have good things to say wrt the display performance (lit environment meh aside). The first app I tried to install was Netflix. Netflix is pictured in the advertising and such but no. It’s not pre-installed and NOT available. Everything else I wanted seems to be available… Amazon, Spotify, the crap apps from mainstream media. Even Apple TV! I installed Apple TV (no Apple TV+) and it found my iTunes video library and played a video in less than 30 seconds. -1 star for a crap-tastic setup experience and no Netflix. Otherwise, a really good product! ... show more
