    • Ok LED strip, but has already experienced bulb outages
Size: 16.4FT Tunable 3000K-6000K
Review Image by Maria R Maria R

This LED strip is good overall, but not the best quality compared to 5050 LEDs. 5050 LEDs are brighter and more versatile. This strip is ok for its purpose. Pros: - Decent kelvin range from ~2000k-~6000k - adhesive strip is good, no problems so far for an interior lighting job - The strip is thin, so it WILL fit in smaller diffuser bars Cons: - There are a few of the bulbs already out. Like the picture shows, there is a dim spot in my strip where the blue part of the LED will not light up. Its not noticeable unless you look under my cabinets, but its still an issue. - the strip is not waterproof or even abrasion-proof. It seems pretty easy to break overall if your not careful - the max brightness is not super bright. Its ok for night lighting, but not good for during the day at all. Overall this strip is ok, but I would go with a 5050 LED strip in the future to have brighter lights and more durability. ... show more

    • Unleash Creative Lighting with BTF-LIGHTING's FCOB COB LED Strip
Size: 16.4FT Tunable 3000K-6000K
I've been playing around with the BTF-LIGHTING FCOB COB Addressable CCT WS2811 IC Flexible High-Density Uniform Chasing Color LED Strip, and let me tell you, it's a gem for various applications. Here's my review: Pros: Great LED Density: With an impressive 576 LEDs per meter, the density on this strip is top-tier. This translates to a beautifully uniform and rich light output, perfect for creating immersive effects or subtle ambiances. Great Brightness: No more dull or dim lighting. The brightness level on this strip is fantastic, allowing for a wide range of applications from mood lighting to spotlighting key areas. Adjustable White Light Temperature: Having the ability to tune the color temperature between 3000K and 6000K gives you the flexibility to create warm, cozy atmospheres or cooler, energizing spaces. CRI 90+ for Photography: If you're into photography, the CRI 90+ rating ensures accurate color rendering. This strip can enhance your photography setup by delivering light that truly represents the colors in your scene. Flexible Compatibility: The WS2811 IC means that this strip is compatible with various controllers, including BTF lighting controllers and microcontrollers like ESP32. It opens up possibilities for both beginners and seasoned lighting pros. Note: This strip doesn't come with a power supply or controller, but don't let that deter you. This actually gives you complete control over how to power and control it, aligning with your specific needs and preferences. It's a feature rather than a drawback. Conclusion: The BTF-LIGHTING FCOB COB Addressable LED Strip is a powerhouse in the world of LED lighting. With its dense LED layout, adjustable color temperature, high CRI, and broad compatibility, it's suited for various creative applications, including photography, decorative lighting, and even professional installations. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this strip offers a high level of customization and quality that can elevate your lighting game. Just remember to choose the right power supply and controller to match your needs, and you'll be all set to light up your world. Happy lighting adventures ... show more

    • Bright and Incredibly Thin LED lights!
Size: 16.4FT Warm White 3000K
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for LED lights to light up your space look no further. These are fully adjustable and controllable by using the WS2811 protocol to control sequences, brightness, etc. I like that they are very small LEDs and almost create the illusion of fluorescent lights. These are really easy to work with, 3 wires to connect; positive, negative, and data. One of the best features of these LED lights is the 24v input. This will allow multiple strands to be connected without the voltage drop that is common with 5v and 12v strips. I'm planning to order more soon to complete a kitchen light project. You won't regret picking up these lights! ... show more

    • Excellent for wide range of white temperatures and high level of brightness.
Size: 16.4FT Tunable 3000K-6000K
The tricky part of BTF lighting is that some of it is 12v and some 24v. This particular reel is 24v, and it's wonderful having the option of mixing various white levels, and having a nice bright light source, and having an app to control the addressable patterns. If you try powering it up at 12v, nothing happens - it needs a minimum of 19.5v to turn on. (Of course if you mistakenly power up a 12v reel at 24v, you'll quickly burn it out). The power couplings are identical, so I use Sharpies to mark the connectors as to the correct voltage source. If this is your first time grabbing a BTF reel, you'll need an addressable controller purchased separately. You may desire a remote but the smartphone app can be used to set up the presentation and then you can use the hard-wired power switch to turn the controller off and on. ... show more

    • Excellent for DYI LED Project
Size: 16.4FT Warm White 3000K
I'm using this around a large bathroom mirror to provide highlighting around the mirror. Cuts and solders easily. Warm white color is accurate. Easy to use and install.
