I bought these expecting a replacement for my recycling bin. Per the photo I expected 3 self-supporting box-like objects, which could stand rigidly on their own. Unfortunately they were more like bags, which sort of collapsed at the sides once velcroed together and stood up. There was no insert of any kind that might help the bags stay fully expanded and upright. That said, the material was a waterproof platic (think big blue ikea bag) that would likely be easy to wash, and durable. I returned mine because they did not sit nicely on the floor of my kitchen. ... show more

I love these bags for my recycling. I am currently in a small home, and these bags are great. I can collapse them to get them out of the way when they are empty, or only open the ones I need. So much better than having to use bins that took up too much space. I just grab the handles when they are full, or on recycling day and carry them to my outside bin. These are large. Stands up well after putting cardboard in the bottoms.

    • Handles get in the way of attaching the bags with Velcro.

Love how the bags look. They are sturdy and they are a nice size. Fortunately, I don’t attach the bags to each other, because for some reason the Velcro strips are on the same sides of the bags as the handles. This really doesn’t work.
