The box was heavy! I am 52, overweight and out of shape! I had a really hard time getting it up the front door step, down the hall an into my room! Took me about an hour just to get it in the room. that being said, it took me 15 min to assemble it! no instructions in the package. I had read all the reviews on this bed so I knew how to work the legs of the bed. I had to install 6 legs, 2 brackets, the motor for the head and torso lift, connect that motor, assemble the electrical box that powers the whole thing and connect it! super easy! I was impressed by that! so I turned it on its side, then set it upright and plugged it! Voila! its works beautifully! The remote lights up, has an led light so you can see where you step if its dark. The bed has massage, 3 preprogrammed settings and its easy to understand and operate. Put the new foam mattress that arrived last week, dressed it a little and i will let you know how it goes. so far so good! The price was unbeatable! the quality is amazing! Delivered to my door! i do recommend that you get help to move the box and to turn the bed right side up!

Bed frame is well made overall and functions well once you figure out how to put it together. Instruction manual is almost worthless as the parts list doesn’t match the parts shipped and the pictures and instructions are cryptic at best. The online manual is just an online reproduction of the print version so no real help there. It took me a few go rounds to figure out how the electrical connections are supposed to be connected and to get the whole thing functioning correctly. I did contact customer service before I figured out the electrical setup and they did respond quite promptly. I didn’t end up needing it once I figured it out. It arrives in two package which are huge and very difficult to maneuver. They were constructed of the cheapest grade cardboard so the package arrived torn and battered. No damage to the product but pretty much useless to reuse. If I had decided to return it, I would have had to completely repackage it myself. There is also a 15% return fee that I didn’t notice once I looked at the suppliers website.

To the Naomi Home 'Loyalty' team, The information given on your amazon.com listing, as well as the paperwork and pdf downloadable from your website, all state a 1 year warranty! A company that only provides a 90 day warranty on it's products is really showing how little faith they have in the quality of their product. I mean seriously..."oh...our adjustable bed will never make it through even a year! Quick...slap a 90 day warranty on it! .. Even though we have a 1 year warranty listed everywhere and on everything...well only until the actual purchase is complete. Or until the subpar "quality" of your bases shows it's true self. Then we try and change the rules after the game has already started...tsk, tsk,tsk...shame on you. I spoke with your local BBB again today and it seems there is a common theme in Naomi Home's dealings regarding warranty issues. Looks like there had been a sharp increase in complaints filed about the bait and switch/musical chairs style of warranty follow through. The website clearly states it had a 1 year warranty....no matter how much your company wants and tries to slither out of covering said 1 year warranty....well...you don't get to pick and choose. You must go by what is shown on the listing whether you like it or not. And for future changes to length of warranty coverage, well those must be reflected on the website PRIOR TO PURCHASE. So let us put our big kids panties on and take responsibility here and fix this. Remember you're not allowed to change the rules halfway through the game... no matter how badly you want to. It's just not right. ******************************************* ###Update 1 for August 10th 2021 : With another unacceptable response from the seller/manufacturer stating that they will not honor the warranty and insist it's 90 and not one year as stated multiple times within the listing, Q&A, reviews on Amazon as well as then the literature provided with the bed. I contacted Amazon regarding their A to z guarantee and was told that they would request correspondence from the seller to issue a return label and if they had not responded within two to four days to go ahead and request relief under the A to Z guarantee. Well that sounds great but in the real world they made it so difficult to find any information on the guarantee nor do they provide any way, logical or otherwise, to review any correspondence with the A to Z team. I've spent the better part of the last two months trying to locate those as to benefit from the guarantee and recoup my losses. I spend a great deal and probably support an entire Amazon distribution center just with mine and my friends purchases each month. One would think that after repeatedly being toldz by Amazon that you are a "valued and important part of Amazon", that that position would demand a certain level of follow up,feedback and support. This would include automatically creating and scheduling a follow up to review the status of and to determine if further intervention with the seller is needed. This would provide a customer service agent that would be the liason between the two especially with it now that it has been "escalated" so to speak requiring extra attention to correct the problems I'm hoping that this review gets the attention of someone in the Amazon customer service department and gets the ball rolling. I've also submitted another request for an RMA to the manufacturer and seller reiterating in no uncertain terms the facts surrounding my purchase. I have also included details from a number of other 1 star reviews etc showing the identical pattern of defects across the product line as well as the need for a complete recall of the bed frames and their suspension, at least temporarily, from selling on Amazon. In related news...I have very advanced, the second worst case my sleep specialist has ever seen, of obstructive sleep apnea. I stop breathing over 180 times an hour that's approximately once every 16 seconds or so. Since I'm unable to elevate the head of my bed my sleep apnea for the last several months has been extremely taxing and detrimental to my health, thus creating even further problems such as heart problems, extreme spikes in blood pressure and blood oxygen levels at below 73 percent along with a plethora of other issues which can and are deadly. This was highlighted in my lastest communication to the company and the fact that this is not an isolated incident but chronic defect that demands corrective action now. And finally I created a scenario where they could visualize a situation in which a group of customers having been sold defective products, band together and start a class action lawsuit. This of course also illustrates the damage that's possible to their reputation etc but In the end, winds up gently leading them to the only acceptable and morally responsible course of action to take...and being so time sensitive with the ever looming threat of accidents, they'll want to remedy for this yesterday. The email was direct, to the point and in no way harassing, vulgar, inappropriate or threatening. If anyone has had success in dealing with an issue like this with either Amazon or Naomi home products could you please get in contact with me? I'd like to pass this information along to other people that have been abandoned by the manufacturer and what's starting to look like Amazon as well. Thank you and have a great day. ###Original review: I purchased this adjustable bed base and received it at the end of February. With the covid-19 situation and having someone in our building test positive we were under quarantine, so I was not able to set up this until recently. It worked fine at first except for the fact that the speed control for the massage option did not function. I'd sent them a message originally regarding that but did not hear back and unfortunately I did not follow up on the lack of response. Several days ago while getting out of bed I hit the flat button, which returns it to a completely flat position. I had of course done this daily during the precious weeks but this time instead of accomplishing this in just a few minutes it continued quite a bit longer and started making loud noises. I attempted to stop the motor with the remote but there was no response so I had to crawl under and unplug It. There I saw the damage that had been caused during it's attempt to return the bed to a flat position. The frame itself where the head of the bed motor attaches was completely bent and the legs longer fully touching the floor. The shaft that raises the head portion of the bed looks like it operates with a screw mechanism was completely out of its housing. I took pictures while I was down there because it is rather cumbersome and difficult to get to the underside of the bed, even the USB ports are placed very poorly. I contacted their customer service and was told that the seller who is also the manufacturer if you were to go by the name of the product, only deals with product defects within 30 days but that the manufacturer offers a 90-day warranty, but sadly that date had just passed very recently within the last week and a half. So there was nothing further they could do. Really? Well doing research before purchasing the bed, I spent about 2 months going through all the different options and products out there and decided on this one. I looked up the product page again today and saw that in a number of places it says that the bed is covered by at least a one year warranty so I'm not sure what the problem is here. They have a defective product and are unwilling to service it. I don't know who in their right mind would purchase a 400 plus dollar adjustable bed base that only has a 90-day warranty nor can I believe the gall of a company who only warranties their product for 90 days! Especially one with this price tag. This is completely unacceptable! The product page clearly states it a number of places it's a one year warranty even in the Q and A section with responses from the manufacturer/seller themsel es! I would avoid this company and product at all costs. They are not to be trusted. I spend a quite a bit of money on Amazon, receiving deliveries at least three to four times a week, which reminds me I do need to get working on some of my back reviews as I don't want to be one of those people that only writes a review when they've had a bad experience. The majority of products I receive are of good quality, fairly priced and are from reputable companies, who through their actions, prove they truly care about their product and most importantly their customer. Unfortunately It looks like this company does not. I guess I need to be a little more picky And even though I already extensively research products and the companies that sell them and manufacture them before purchasing, I guess I need to put in even more effort thanks to companies like these. I was never one to only read the negative reviews but maybe there would be a benefit to that... Making sure to see through those reviews who are clearly complaining just to complain and concentrating on those reviews that are truly expressing their concerns about product quality and customer service. I hope this review will help future buyers looking to make a purchase like mine. We have bought multiple twins of adjustable beds, for multiple bedrooms. This is the first time we got the massage feature on these beds. It was so worth it. I put two twins together and then use king sheets with deep pockets, to make a king sized bed. These frames are very easy to put together. They are so easy to use.
