I don't write many reviews, but this one had to be done. If you're looking for a new or replacement central vac, this unit is all they say it is in terms of power and performance. My house is around 6500sq.ft. and spread out with an open plan. The vacuum port farthest from the unit is approximately 100' away and still has plenty of suction power. I was somewhat hesitant to purchase this unit without ample reviews, but I'm am very pleased I took the chance. I just hope the longterm reliability is there. ... show more

I am more than satisfied with the OVO/Nadair Unit that I purchased. I decided on the Nadair 700 25L unit, which I now call the "Beast". Installation was a breeze and the performance is really incredible. Suction is amazing for such a small unit! The unit is very quiet and fits nicely on a wall. I have a small (1200 SF) condo and one car garage, so didn't need a giant tank. This one fit the bill perfectly. It is the right size and fits into the space. We didn't need to, but we put in a dedicated circuit for it. I wish it had a place to directly attach the hose for use in the garage. We had to install an outlet there. Also, the wall we chose was a firewall between the house and the garage, so we put the tank on a piece of plywood. Installing the pipes was a nightmare (not new construction AND a downstairs condo unit). There was only one outlet installed inside the unit. It's located about 20-25 ft from the tank. I use it with a 40 ft hose in order to reach the whole condo. The suction is great even with the longer hose, and I have had to open the suction holes in the hose for my carpet. It's easy to open the bottom of the tank to empty. The bag is a little tricky to install, however. The warranty is very good as well. So far very happy with this Central Vac. ... show more
