There’s no finish so dough will stick to it, also not as easy to wash as a normal rolling pin being it’s not smooth. It’s literally just a dowel with some Chinese brand name engraved on one end.🤔

One piece French-style rolling pin. I replaced my old two-handled rolling pin with this, and am very pleased. Easy to use, easy to clean. Would recommend recommend seasoning it before first use with a little olive oil, and don't put it in the dishwasher to clean, hand wash with a little dishsoap, rinse and wipe and allow to airdry. Very happy with this product!

First off, I'm so happy to have found a nice, basic dowel-type rolling pin. I appreciate the smooth, finished wood that doesn't stick to my food or preparation area, the simplicity of the design that's easy to tell if what I'm flattening is under the workable area of the pin or not, and that it's easy to clean/maintain. The deeper walnut color matches my (older) cutting board and keeps it from looking cheap. There's a good weight to it, and it feels solid without being too heavy to handle or store upright in a utensil container. The length is also good and covers the bases of my baking needs. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I gave this a four and a half star out of five, only because I think the walnut could have looked better. The pin has a large working area for leveling, and looks great on a countertop. I purchased for my wife who bakes fairly often. She loves it! I hope this was helpful.

Arrived just in time. I was making roti and used a bottle to roll dough. Dough wasn’t coming out as I’d liked and mins later I heard my door bell and wallah, there goes the mail man. I’m so glad my lightweight rolling pin Came on time. I’m not a baker but quarantine is bringing out the best in me. Never cooked so much in my life!!

I like that the description is not misleading, also the primary reason that I’m taking the time to write this review. There were many complaints about the sticker being placed on the working surface, this company apparently listened and took the advice. I received mine in a sealed box with no dents, dings or stickers. Just the beautiful black walnut rolling pin. It honestly is a great buy guys.
