I don't wash mine like most - we wipe off with a damp towel and place back into the container. No rusting so far. The handle is a little thin on these - doesn't bother us, but someone who has hand issues might like to have a bit more rounded lip to grab. We like them. thought. They cut clean, sharp shapes and are even on the cuts. Love that the set comes with a container so I can give groups one set to use and I know they have all of the sizes together.
