I really like these silicon mats, I purchased three sets over the last couple months as they are perfect for lots of different things. I use them on surfaces where I know I'll be putting things that will end up getting wet, like drinks with ice, or even lotions that might spill. I like the orange color because it's really easy to find stuff on it. I'll use these when I'm taking apart a little device and screws and washers and other parts show up really great against the bright orange color. The size is shorter than the recipes call for, but it worked. Since this was the first time that I had ever made a cake roll maybe I expected too much. Cake rolled easily and didn’t stick. I did use parchment paper on the bottom as my recipe called for.

I bought this as a mat to catch runny wet dog food, so my dog wouldn't lick the floor. It works well as a safe surface for the dog to lick. The lip keeps liquid off the floor. Washing it takes practice. I have to fold it in opposite, perpendicular halves while rinsing to prevent mat acting as a funnel for water getting out of sink & on me. I fold it in half each way (reminds me of paper fortune teller we made as kids). I love the orange color. Also it has NO odor which is important to me. ... show more

I use these to make thin layer of génoise or similar fluffy cake fondation. French cakes often needs that kind of layers and this silicone work perfectly.

I bought these mats to use in place of parchment paper for candy making. I liked that it had the raised edges to keep my chocolate from running off the edge. It worked great. I did not use it to bake on so I can't give a review on it's heat resistance.
