  • Great product and price
Thanks first and foremost to the company.... my items arrived in a timely matter and fit like a glove I was embarrassed when my snow blower (which was given to me) wasn't acting right it didn't throw the snow like it should have and it was scrapping the ground hard.. so I flipped it over and saw my pads coming off and the ground scraper halfway gone. So I knew I had to find the parts A.S.A.P due to the fact I live in (N.E. Ohio and we get lots of snow), But after I put my new parts on and ready to try them out... lol no more snow???? so I'm glad to have them on and awaiting on some snow to plow :) .. thanks a lot hope you have found my review helpful... Company is Alright with me.. ... show more

  • Saved a snow-puker from the trash heap
These new paddles made a HUGE difference in the amount of snow thrown and the speed at which we could clear our driveway. Being in the greater Boston area we have had more than our share of snow this season and last. Our 1997 MTD 3/21 was given to us 5 years ago by a friend who bought a larger two-stage unit. In all those years the paddles were never changed. Neither was the belt. Nobody knew it was an option, until this year. On light fluffy snow, it was great. On anything heavier or snow that sat and froze, it wasn't worth starting. We shoveled a lot last year, even after replacing the belt. We were about to put it to the curb and buy a Toro unit, when another friend suggested new paddles. A google search and five days later, we had a BEAST of a snow thrower. It took on huge piles of old frozen snow left over from last months storm, like a wood chipper - throwing shaved ice long and high. When we got 4 inches recently, it plowed down to bare driveway in one pass. We were back inside in a quarter of the time it use to take and 10x's less time than it would have taken to shovel. Do yourself a favor, try it. It's a heck of a lot less $ than a new unit and it saves space in a landfill. Sermon aside, I have no regrets and won't plan on replacing this old machine until the motor gives out. Best of luck. ... show more

  • This scraper works great and is very easy to install
This scraper works great and is very easy to install. I got the idea from my son to order from Amazon and this was the best thing I've done . Scraper came to me on time and in very good shape. Fits beautifully on my MTD snow blower. Yes I will order this again when I need to. Thank you much!!

  • Augers are good, but you may still need a scraper bar
I bought this for my snowthrower and the rubber fit onto the auger blades fine. The scraper seemed to fit well enough too. however, the plastic scraper bar snapped in two spots after 4-5 uses, so now I'm going to find somewhere else to buy one separately and hope to find a rubberized version of it. The rubber for the auger still works great though and I'm glad to have purchased, even if I do need to get a different scraper bar. ... show more

  • Fits and works great.
Replacing the blades and scraper are simple and easy to do. Having all the pieces in one kit is a good idea too. Often though, I found the paddles are still good and just the scraper needs replacing. It wears out faster then it affects the paddles. If just a scraper is needed, it might save some money for a year or two. ... show more

  • One time wonder
Acquired the Troy-bilt squall 2100 over summer. I decided to do some basic tune-up things to get it ready for a NE Ohio winter. Bought this scraper bar as part of the preventative maintenance and to be prepared. Winter is late this year as we finally got a chance to fire up the snowblower for the first time on 1/17/22. The scraper bar didn’t even make it through the first snowfall!! There are more pieces of this brittle piece scattered about my driveway and lawn than still attached to the machine!! The concrete is fresh (3yrs old) and crack free. I’ve waterproofed it as well so there is no ice built up on it either. The part is flat out over-priced rubbish. I’m only writing this review because now I’m back on Amazon looking for another. What a waste of money. I’ve bought low budget parts for my Ariens SS322 and Toro S-200 that are still working well years of use later. This is not the part to buy. You’ve been warned based off my (extremely short) experience. By comparison this part is more expensive than a 1day pass at Disney world. It took me longer to write this review than the piece lasted. Now I’m getting myself upset thinking about it. Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhg!! ... show more

  • Good product for the money
As the owner of a snow removal company, we use our snow blowers a lot. Since we use them so much we intend for things to wear out but this product has been working well for us, the only down side and hence the 3 stars, is the fact that in cold weather the cutting edge seems to break apart much easier. Here in MN, the temps could reach -20 degrees as we are out and we need that product to be reliable for our customers. Otherwise they work as they should, we just think that they should be made of a more durable material. ... show more

  • If you want a smooth track as you traverse the snow
This is the one for the MTD snowblower. I bought this 3 years ago, and it still is in great shape on both cement and asphalt
