I bought this 2-quart saucepan to replace a scratched-up Calphalon one that I'd used for years. I like it well enough, though it appears to be a little bit smaller than the pot that it replaces. Also, although the handle is heat-resistant, the pot lid does get hot. On the other hand, I like having the stem vent in the lid in the new pot. Perfect little pot for my candy making. Completely non-stick so my caramel and brittle just slides out into my cooling pan. The handle doesn’t conduct heat, so handling it while my caramel/brittle are melting is great! No need for an oven mitt or a dish towel! Love that. And the sides are high enough so my candy doesn’t come close to bubbling over. But, most importantly, I needed a “heavy-bottomed” pot, but I don’t like the extreme weight of cast iron, and this little guy does the trick!
