This product is hard as a rock but delicious. It pairs nicely with homemade yogurt. You may need to warm the honey in a microwave to mix it into the yogurt. Do not warm the pail warm the portion. It has been cold up here in the mountains and since I bought it, the inside temperature of our home does not exceed 70 degrees F. Maybe in the summer when it gets up to 80 or so in our home, it might spread like margarine. Don't know and it will be gone by then so another will need to be ordered. If I remember, I will add to the review when it gets hot. But if it is cold, you bend spoons to try to get out a serving. Great product overall. Nice creamy taste and texture. I do recommend trying. I will be purchasing this product again. This is the best honey I have found, and we have local sellers of town-made honey. It may be better for allergies, but the taste does not compare. Try it, I do not think you will be disappointed. The pictures show a creamy product. But do not be fooled. This is not soft and spreadable. At least at the temps I provided. ... show more

This is a Canadian product. My niece lives in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario. When she came to visit in Florida where we now live, she brought a jar of this honey. We were looking for good quality honey like this for a long time. We loved it so much we went online to order a 6.6 lb. tub and we don't regret it. The jar was shattered or cracked all the way up the sides and bottom on arrival. This product is not eligible for a return or replacement. I won't taste it in a broken bottle & I don't know how it spreads. I won't buy again.

This 3kilo container honey is very hard. I scrape the metal tablespoon trying to loosen it. Of dozens of honey containers I ve purchased never experienced anything like this before. No production date on it. I wonder if it is many years old - expired. Really exerting effort to loosen it Its hurting my hand / wrist. Taste Allright though. ... show more
