Truly Impressed! I don’t usually write long reviews, but this time I feel like I genuinely should. I’ve been using the Mova robot vacuum for a week now, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. I bought it because my floors were always covered with dust, hair, and crumbs, and with work getting busier, I just couldn’t keep up with daily cleaning on my own. This little machine ended up helping more than I expected. 1. Strong cleaning performance My home has a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet. The Mova automatically adjusts the suction depending on the surface, and it really shows. The carpet feels noticeably fresher after it runs, and it picks up hair and fine dust that I didn’t even realize was there. It handles floor debris in one pass and doesn’t get tangled every five minutes. 2. Smart and efficient navigation One of the biggest surprises was how organized the cleaning path is. It doesn’t wander around randomly or get stuck in loops. Instead, it follows a very neat, systematic pattern. I'll start off with why its a 1 star and why i won't recommend the Mova Z60. It smells terrible! - After 3-4 months of use, following all the maintenance (which is quite a bit actually) the roller mop stinks... I manually clean it every 2 weeks (or less) but it still stinks, musty mildew smell. I have replaced it with brand new roller, scrubbed every nook and cranny, including the onboard dirty water tank, the water ports in the roller bay and the entire docking station to no avail. I've maxed out the roller mop cleaning and drying times too, still stinks. Oh, and it also has a new trick, when it start mopping it leaves a puddle and a water trail initially, luckily i have tile and LVP flooring but still not good... I even lowered the water usage level to try and offset it.. IDK, i am out of ideas and patience. The floors and the whole house stinks like musty mildew when ever the Z60 runs. So now its only useful for vacuuming. I have owned, and tested many vacuum/mopping robots so this is not my first, and I've never had this issue, especially with the rotating pad/disk ones - I would certainly say Do Not Buy. I think Mova makes great product, i currently have a V50 vacuum/mop and a Diver A10 for the pool in service right now, i think the Z60 is just a failure unfortunately. This is what is good about theZ60: Purchased this in Dec '25 to offset the load on the Mova V50 i already own - Initially, the Z60 was amazing!! Setup and connectivity was flawless, mapping was great, it vacuums and mops fantastically and i was overly impressed by its performance, just what you expect from a $1000 robot.. But it does occasionally get caught up on area rugs like in the bathroom and kitchen but, to be fair, so does the V50 and other robots i have tested. I was able to somewhat mitigate the area rug issue by having it raise its chassis (which was one of the prime reasons i purchased the Z60, to do what the V50 didn't do well, but then is does not clean low pile rugs as good.. Nothing is perfect i guess but, between the the V50 and now the Z60, i figured i have all my vacuum and mopping needs covered. While the Z60 is a bit louder than the V50 it does have more suction power so its understandable and it does a great job on the high pile bathroom area rugs. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts the Musty Mildew smell i described at the top of this review makes the Mova Z60 not a good purchase, hopefully they will address it in a Z70 version... i hope.

This was a replacement for an Ecovac mop and vacuum robot which constantly got stuck on my high pile carpet carpets. I decided to try MOVA for the “mop roller design” vs the spinning mop disks. This is an upgrade. Also for the ability to overcome thresholds and elevate itself on thick carpets. I found it to work very well although it still struggles and seems to get “lost” navigating on high pile carpet and just stops or moves in slow circles as if it does not know what to do. The wheels with elevating body help it to move on the carpet if only it could figure out where it was supposed to go. It has no issue on wood floors. I like that you can set mop to follow the wood floor plank direction to avoid water streaks. I especially like the dual reservoirs so it can mix cleaning solution for you!!!

For me to write a review, something has to work exceptional well or very poorly. I received my MOVA "Z60 Ultra Roller Complete" a couple days ago and I am extremely impressed. This is a marvelous piece of engineering. I have 2 large dogs that shed hair and drool all the time. The floor is engineered vinyl planking throughout. Very tiresome sliding a swifter around the house every couple of weeks and changing out the swifter pads about 10 - 15 times, and the house gets re-drooled in a couple days. I turned the MOVA loose to map the house and the app tries to name all the rooms. It did a great job very quickly, but I did not know I had 4 dining rooms. But the app makes it easy to re-name and re-partition the rooms. There is a small learning curve to use the app, but it does so much with many selections on what you need and how aggressively the MOVA will run. It also alerts your phone if one of the base station tanks needs to be emptied or filled. I also have a metal dog gate in the house to separate dogs at eating time. It has a 1 inch metal bar at the bottom that my previous robots could not get over, but the MOVA did climb over it several times but got stuck once, balancing itself on the bar. As for vacuuming, it works as good as any other robot, maybe better, and you can select the suction power level in the app. But this MOVA really shines for mopping (the first time I used one that could mop). After about 4 weeks of drool build up came the ultimate mopping test. After two mopping passes with the MOVA, the entire floor is nice and shiny now and lots of dirty water in the base tank. There is a nice feature that you can see the video feed of what the vacuum sees in the app via the on-board front camera (with lots of security and warnings of its activation so only you can view it), but mine did not work yet, reporting the signal is too weak. I'll test that again in the future. Is this MOVA worth the $1000 price tag? You have to decide that, but I say yes it is, for all the re-occurring work it saves me. Now, if it could only do my laundry. MOVA, are you listening?

I picked up the Z60 after spending some time with its smaller sibling, the Z50. They clearly share the same DNA, and I hoped the Z60 would meaningfully improve navigation. While it does show some refinement, it ultimately didn’t resolve the core issues I was trying to fix. If you haven’t used a premium robot vacuum in a while, the tech itself is impressive. Strong suction, obstacle avoidance, multi-sensor navigation, app control, notifications, and a self-cleaning dock all make this feel like a serious, high-end product. The standout feature is the roller mop. This feels like the future and a real step forward compared to traditional spinning or drag-style mops used on older models, including the Z50. Cleaning performance overall is solid, and the system does a good job avoiding obvious obstacles. Hair did tangle in the brush from my wife’s long hair, but the vacuum detected it and notified me. Removing the brush was quick and easy since it detaches cleanly from the bottom. I also appreciate the alerts for low water, self-cleaning cycles, and returning to the dock. Those quality-of-life notifications are genuinely useful. Mapping is competent but not perfect. It generally recognizes rooms, furniture, and layout reasonably well, but it still needs user input. I usually label rooms and hallways manually, which improves accuracy. It works, but it isn’t fully hands-off. Where the Z60 falls short is navigation. My home has short step transitions, roughly four inches high. The Z60 appears improved over the Z50 and most current-generation robot vacuums, but it still cannot pass these thresholds. I don’t fault the Z60 for that. I don’t think any current robot vacuum realistically can. The bigger issue is what happens afterward. Because it can’t traverse those steps, it treats my open-concept layout as separate zones. Living room, kitchen, and formal dining areas are technically connected, but the robot sees them as isolated. If I move the robot manually, it often becomes disoriented, spins in circles, and eventually tries to return to a dock it can’t reach. Moving the dock helps, but that’s not practical long term. Given all the cameras, lidar, and sensors, recovery behavior is disappointing. On pricing, I found a good deal on Amazon, and Mova’s direct site had an even better promotion. Unfortunately, my experience with Mova’s customer support was poor, which raises concerns about post-sale support. The Z60 has impressive cleaning tech, and the roller mop is a meaningful advancement. However, navigation and recovery behavior still lag behind the hardware. For homes with level changes or complex layouts, those issues may outweigh the benefits. Despite the strong tech, this one is a pass for me

I had the narwal flow prior to this one and both being roller types I think I can provide a great comparison between the two. To start the Z60 takes a lot more time on clean genius, which for some may be a con but the reason is that it travels a little slower and in a more tight formation than the flow does. I noticed that it tend to pick up more dirt this way. The flow is great if I wanted something quick but not perfect. I can still do that with the z60 using a custom job so I didn't really lose out on much. They are both about the same amount of loudness on normal settings, but the z60 is definitely louder with the max vacuum section mode due to having significantly more pascals. I have definitely noticed a vast improvement with carpet cleaning compared to the flow because of this. Mopping I feel like is about the same. They're both rolling type but the flow has more of a track style mop but hard to say whether a roller or a track is better. My dog came in with muddy paw prints and I had each vacuum clean the living room or kitchen where she came through. They each have their own room and after her inspecting that both were exceptionally clean. I think the only reason the z60 came out on top slightly was that it did a better job at cleaning some of the loose debris left on the corners due to the extendable arms that the flow doesn't have. In terms of features, this thing is feature packed. Has quite the amount of settings flow didn't have and they all seem to work pretty well. I think the only cons I could really find is that the battery isn't super great and the water tank is on the smaller end. My house is about 1600 sqft and it gets to about 90% before needing to recharge. Not a huge deal since it has the resume after charge feature. I do use the deep cleaning mode only though which makes it use max suction and mopping so it's not too surprising it runs out of battery. Using the normal mode after a deep clean I think would be fine battery wise. The water tank is about maybe 2/3rds the size of the flow which is a bummer but I've noticed that it doesn't use as much water as the flow (maybe due to smaller roller) so really it's close to the same replacement frequency so not a huge deal to me either. All in all I can say I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase that replaced the flow. If you're thinking of getting a robot vacuum, this one is definitely the way to go. Plus I really like that I have a three year warranty since most other vacuums do not come with that.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend MOVA after our experience. Our first MOVA robot developed problems and was sent in for service **three separate times**. Each time, it came back still having issues. After dealing with the repair process repeatedly, we eventually gave up and purchased an entirely new robot ourselves. Now, **less than three months after buying the second robot**, it is already having repeated charging faults and cannot reliably charge. I went through all of MOVA’s troubleshooting steps, cleaned and checked the base and wheels, verified the base station placement, checked for interference, and even performed a full factory reset. The problem continues. What makes this especially disappointing is that this isn’t one defective unit. We have now had serious problems with **two separate MOVA robots**, and the first one was never successfully fixed despite three service attempts. For a robot that costs around **$900**, I expected significantly better reliability and support. At this point I do not want to go through another cycle of sending a robot in for repair only to receive it back with the same problems. The features are great when the robot works, but reliability and after-sale support matter just as much. Based on our experience with two units, I would not purchase another MOVA product.

I purchased the Z60 Ultra during the recent Amazon sale. It was able to map my home better than the ECOVACS DEEBOT T80 or the Narwal Flow were able to do. It identified walls, hallways, and angled walled rooms that both the T80 and Flow failed to map, but the map editing tool in the MOVA Home app is limited and doesn't give the user the ability to modify the layout of rooms where the mapping tool identified furniture as walls. I continue to request from MOVA Support, a copy of or a link to a site where I can get a copy of the user manual for the MOVA Home app that is used to set up and control the Z60 Ultra, but they still haven't provided either. Supposably there are ways to set up some cleaning functions that I'd love to use, but because of the lack of documentation for the MOVA Home app, I'm unable to get the most out of the Z60 Ultra. I'm disappointed with MOVA Support and the time it takes for them to just respond to any problems you report. I recently reported a problem with the mopping function where the Z60 Ultra is leaving random lines of water (appears to be coming from one end of the mop roller) on the floor it's mopping, but I'm still waiting for them to respond with suggestions for fixing the problem. As for the vacuum function, it does a great job in that area. 80% of my home is either tile or hardwood, with only one room, the dining room, which has thick wall-to-wall carpet. I also have one area rug and a couple of hall runners in the house, and it does a great job of vacuuming all of them. If you have any loose through rugs, you'll need to pick those up because the Z60 Ultra will get hung up on them. I used the highest vacuum suction on one cleaning to the dining room, but it drained that battery in no time, so I use the standard setting when vacuuming. Until MOVA responds and fixes the water dripping problem, I won't use the mopping feature when cleaning rooms and hallways with hardwood floors. If they can't fix/or correct the problem, it's going back. Update 1: After finally being contacted by someone from MOVA support (Tina) who worked with me, she reported that the developers will be looking into how the Z60 does its mapping, and what they can do in the MOVA app that would allow the user to edit/modify maps, so the walls are shown in their proper location. There is no estimate of when this will be worked on or even updated. Update 2: According to support (Tina), MOVA is supposably working on a detailed online version of a user manual, but once again, there is no timeframe for when that will happen. It could be because of the items/inability with the current MOVA app which I documented in emails and screenshots of the settings that are inconsistent with other settings in the app. This is mostly if the ‘Shortcut’ settings and setup. This is what they need to correct so the ‘Shortcut’ setup settings to match the ‘workarounds’ they had me try to get the Z60 to do 2X cleaning patterns. Once they fix the ‘Shortcut’ settings to match the ‘workarounds’, you won’t have to setup a ‘workaround’ cleaning each time you want to clean a room, you can just schedule a saved shortcut with the proper settings. My guess is that if they ever do create a detailed user guide, it won’t happen until they make the programming changes, they claim they are making so users don’t have to ‘jump through hoops’ to get the Z60 to clean rooms/areas the way most users would like it to clean. Update 3: After numerous emails, I was finally hooked up with Tina from the support team. Because MOVA support is not in the US, it usually takes a day for them to get back to your response to them. With that said, Tina worked with me as I explained to her what I was trying to do and provided screenshots of what I was trying, to show her that the MOVA app wouldn’t allow me to do what I was trying to get the Z60 and app to do. She worked with the developers and was able to provide ‘workarounds’ (hoops). I reminded her that if there was detailed user documentation that included this ‘workaround’ information, maybe I wouldn’t have become so frustrated with the MOVA software. These work around setting controls need to be incorporated into the settings for setting up shortcuts. Tina said the developers are working on it and hoped to have it in production sometime in December (2025). Time will tell. Update 4: No change here, the Z60 does a great job with mopping and vacuuming, especially once the mop was used a few times and the right water level was determined. It's object recognition is excellent, but its navigation sometimes is questionable. A few times after cleaning a selected room, instead of going back to the base, it went to another room, looked around, then went back to the base station. Update 5: The water dripping (see Update 4) problem went away after I turned down the amount of water that was being used. After using it a lot to break in the mop roller, over time, I’ve been able to increase the amount of water, and it is working a whole lot better. Final Note: I’ve decided to keep the Z60. Of the robot vacuum’s I’ve tried, the MOVA is better than the others, and will only get better if MOVA follows up and improves the map editing and setting controls in the MOVA Z60 app, and provides a detailed user manual on how each setting works, including the little ‘work arounds’ that can be used to get around some of the shortcoming in the app. I’ve increase the star rating by one because of the support I was finally able to work with, but until they improve the MOVA app for the Z60 and provide some detailed user documentation, I’m holding back on a rating that is higher. Tina says MOVA wants to be the best and if MOVA can deliver what their support team claims they will be delivering, they could be the best. UPDATE on 8/1/26: I've been using the MOVA Z60 Ultra for 9 months and I wanted to update my review. First, would I buy this again, NO. The mapping still sucks, battery life sucks. If you want it to do a halfway decent job of vacuuming, you have to set the vacuumed to intense which drains the battery even faster. It's extremely slow, it takes all day to get it to vacuum and mop the floors because it can only do a couple of rooms before it needs to recharge. Half of the time if you have it do a 'Zone' cleaning, it spends more time trying to find the area than it takes it to clean the area. For some reason, it spends a lot of time either sitting in one place, or spinning in circles. 90 percent of our home is hardwood or tile. Yes we do have a couple of large area rugs (family room and master bedroom) and it seems to get confused when I set the Z60 to vacuum then mop those rooms. Lately, it didn't automatically empty the water tank on the Z60 and sent a notice to manually empty it, and also started issuing messages to refill the cleaner fluid container which was already full. Before you ask, I regularly (after every other use) clean the mop cleaning tray on the base station and empty/fill the water/dirty water tanks. I also check and hand vacuum the filter on the Z60, and remove and clean the roller system. I don't think I save a lot of time using it compared to using the central vac system we have. We have to move chairs from tables, bar stools, and small tables so it does a better job, things I didn't have to do when using the central vac. I also have to use our Dyson to vacuum behind doors and under furniture it can't get under.
