I think this is the best bike alarm system I have purchased. It is really solid and locks on the brake hub. So you have to carry the bike away and when you move it, it really has a load siren. Highly recommend it.

PROS: 1. Fits on the disk brake tight and secure. Preventing easy tampering. 2. Loud! Once loacked you will get an initial tone, about 1 sec later you will hear multiple beeps that tell you how charged the alarm is. 1 beep showing it needs charging up to 5 beeps to dimanstrate it is fully charged. 3. Any agresive movement of the bike will anouce a warning chirp. any movement after that sets the alarm. It is LOUD! 130 db may not wake me up @ 2am but it will piss someone off enough to get up and tell me to turn it off. 4. Three keys. Really? How many do you need to have? CONS; The charging. I purchased 2 of these for an upcoming vacation. I messed around with one of the locks. It's pretty darn loud. My hearing isn't great but at arm length it was crazy loud. Definitely loud enough to hear outside the cabins we are staying in -I think after some use this deserves a 5 star rating. But note - there were only instructions in Chinese? My issue is I didn't get an English instruction guide and specifically info about charging the unit. It's easy enough to figure out how to use and charge but I am left with no idea on how long I need to charge the locks. But the lack of an English guide is unacceptable - tell me how long I need to charge the unit, time frame on how long charge will last, etc. This info was probably listed...in Chinese. This product seems good but because of what I detailed above - I would rate it as a zero if possible due to lack of instructions I could read. Edit - found info about the charging signals on Amazon. I don't generally (and shouldn't have to) us Amazon as an instruction manual for a product. But since I at least know more about the charging now I'll bump it up a few more stars. Product worked great during my vacation. Nobody attempted to steal the motorcycles. The alarm was so loud (and my 690 is so heavy), one of my moto's ended up being the theft deterrent for a bunch of friends mountain bikes as well. The device is pretty sensitive and anyone messing around would have triggered the warning or full alarm.
