    • This a review of the salt not the price on Amazon
This salt dissolves very quickly and has no additives. Morton no longer makes the white crystal salt (which was labeled as safe for freshwater pond/aquarium use) but I believe this product is pretty much the same thing. I use it in my pond for my brackish water fish to which I add trace minerals to make up for the other major ingredients (sulfate, potassium, magnesium, calcium) and trace minerals. Doing it for 8 years now. For saltwater (sea water) use the synthetic ocean salts found in pet shops. DO NOT USE THESE SALTS IN A SALT WATER AQUARIUM! ... show more
