Which I am, I've discovered, after buying this 2.5lb bag. I thought walnuts were just a bit acrid and everyone's mouth got a little irritated when they ate them but this is not apparently so. Oh well, no hard feelings. The walnuts are good - nice large chunks, great walnuty flavor, no blemishes that I could see, fresh so far as walnuts go. I ended up giving them away at work and they went quickly enough, so they must be pretty good. I'd recommend them for snacking and baking. ... show more

This bag of walnuts has beautiful walnut halves that taste great without any of processing or ingredients that you find with those other big-name-brands. Not only do these walnuts taste great, the bag size and price makes them a super value. Good for you, taste great, perfect snack, all natural...what else could you ask for. Great quality nuts! I haven't been seeing any quality whole walnuts in local grocery stores lately, so I gave this brand a try! FANTASTIC QUALITY WALNUTS AND AT A MORE REASONABLE PRICE THAN LOCAL RETAIL STORES! In fact, I have a little gang of starving regulars that hang out at my porch during these cold winters where snow and ice covers the ground everywhere. Birds and squirrels during this January Snow/Ice storm of 2026 cannot find food ANWHERE! The 5" of snow fall got covered with a hard ice sheet so I decided to help my "nature buddies out by giving them a boost with walnuts, sunflower seeds and almonds. I chop in halves or quarters the walnuts to make it easier for smaller baby squirrels, Cardinals and many other baby birds.
