I am in love with this trike! First off, it arrived packaged extremely well with each piece of the trike being just as well packed, it was a struggle getting the boxes out of the shipping box and then then the individual boxed. When you open the box, each part was wrapped extremely well also. Now to the second part...the trike came with great instructions and anything we were unsure of was on YouTube. The difficulty was having to assemble the chain rail thing. We got the trike to switch gears smoothly up to 5th gear. I really don't think I'm ever going past 3 to be honest. Eventually we will take the trike to a bike shop to fine tune the gears but it's still rideabable, Once assembled the trike is very heavy and very sturdy. Nothing rattles on the trike even when you hit rough terrain. Lastly, if you have never ridden a trike (as an adult) you need to take it slow and practice on a smooth level path. I didn't and when I rode over our bumpy driver I almost crashed in to my neighbors tree! I learned thar I need to have a firm grip on my handlebars or those bumps will send you in other directions. I found helpful videos on You Tube that helped me with how to ride a trick because it is NOT the same as riding a bicycle. Lastly, this is an AWESOME bike! MoonCool did a fantastic job with creating it. FYI.. I purchased the pet carrier that is meant for their foldable fat tire trike and the carrier fits great because this bike has a much larger rear basket vs the foldable fat tire MoonCool trike. 10 thumbs up!

I could not get a 2 wheel bike because my back spasms. I would fall over when they happen. My son assembled it so I don't know how stressful that was but riding it is so fun. I was very scared at first. When you ride on a slant you feel like your going to fall over but you eventually learn to lean with it. This makes shopping and going on errands so much better. My 2 dogs (12 lbs & 8lbs) fit in basket perfectly. I got some some short like 4 inch leashes to strap them in good. I use harness and clamp to front and back of harness so they can't jump out. I get stopped all the time about how cool the bike is. I live in coastal San Pedro Ca. A very hilly area. This gets me up every hill. I have to pedal with it but it's not strenuous. Just remember to put in 1st gear and power assist level 3. I recommend this to anybody yound or old handicap or not. I ride EVERYDAY! The battery last forever. Goes from dead to full charge in about 7-8 hours. When this one goes I will definitely get another but hopefully that won't be for 5-7 years from now. I don't regret it at all. Also when assembling the basket I got 250lb zip ties to hold it together on sides and to attach to bike. The metal sheets they give eventually fall off so if you have precious animals or groceries in basket and you want them to make it home safe get the zip ties.

First, I googled electric bikes made in the USA and MoonCool was listed...no, I didn't verify before I made my purchase. My bad, as the box was clearly marked "Made in China". Not sure how that happened. Second, this is not easy to assemble...yes, it was about 50% assembled, but every step has been a hassle for us. I would suggest you have this purchase sent to your local bike place and spend the money to have them put it together for you. Other than that, it appears to be a high quality product.
